Hey guys,

I need your opinion on something. I currently own an EVGA 780 Classy but for 100 dollars more i could get an EVGA 780 ti with ACX. I'm kind of itching for a new toy but i know the Classy is a beast. Do you think i'll see performance gains?

I plan on gaming on a 120 hz monitor, so fps are important!

Thank you!

i don't think you will see much of a difference (if any),  but I'll leave it for someone else to answer as I only have 560ti's...

Your EVGA 780 Classified is a great card. I'd just hand onto it if I were you and whenever the next generation of video cards arrives you can invest in that.

You might get 5-10 more fps (that is comparing 780 classy to 780 ti sc acx).
I'd just oc your card to 1200MHz or something.

All i'll sayt is that i went from a 780 acx to a stock 780 ti and saw an average 8 fps increase on a maxed out crysis 3 on a 1080p monitor. interpret as you may ik its not a classy.

Is that through the Step-Up Program?

Both of them would be on air. I'd pay 100 dollars more for the 780ti.

780 Classified is about the same as the 780ti SC in most games, I would save that $100.

Hey Duck, you have an extra c-note laying around for me? I could put it to some really good usage? Dude, you have a Classy! Why not buy a nice 27" 2560x1440 monitor for 4 or 5 bills instead of gaining 3-4 fps. Now that would be an upgrade!!!
