WOW I love this board.  Will solve the Memory issue ( with Cash it seems )  But I have a issue that is beyond me.  I have two Archive drives ( hot swappable , not RAID ) that are connected to the Marvell sata ports.  If I try to boot the PCX with them connected I get the dreaded No Boot  Cntrl alt delete to restart.  I just unplug them both and the machine  boots up ultra fast from the SSD on Sata 0 .

AFTER I boot I can push them back in and POOF they connect and run just fine.

If I restart the machine to check the Bios it doesn't show the SSD as an option to boot from , it seems to default to the drive on the marvel.  Of course everyone knows what happens if I deactivate the marvel  : (

How can I configure things to keep this from happening? I mean besides buying a internal pci sata 3.0 card?

Did I mention that I still love this machine?

Plug all drives into Intel ports and leave the Marvelle ports empty.

OK so maybe I needed to point out that I have all of the other six filled with DVD , SSDs and Raptor and Archive ( Had to use one for my front panel esata as well ) .   That is SIX Gone so I wanted to use those two for Hot swap Archive and Back-up.

So use the marvell ports for non essential/boot drives like the DVD and archive.

That is the whole point.  I AM using them for non essential drives.

The Point is the board tries to BOOT from Marvell drives first and not the proper SATA O SSD

THAT is why I have to disconnect them to boot.

If you're setting your boot priority correctly and it's not following that priority, than I would reset the bios and if that does fix it, you will probably need to contact customer support. Double check t make sure both the both set for AHCI and and the device boot priority is set for the drive you want and the rest of the priorities disabled:
1st Boot - DVD ROM
2nd Boot - USB Key
3rd Boot - Hard Disk (Device on the intel controller, not the Marvell device)
Disabled
Disabled
Disabled

Disabled

If this doesn't work, I would contact customer support or wait a proper answer here I guess... Also, what happens when you disable the marvel controller, does the SSD show up? If it does can you select it and turn the marvell controller back on? What happens then?

: ))  Exactly 5 minutes after my first successful boot this came through.  Took me hours to figure it out.  I must say the Manual for this board is EXTREMELY weak.  The PDF version is worthless unless you have done it all before.

Same goes for my other issue with the fans.  Thank you so much for getting / Confirming what I figured out!
