Hi guys,

I'm after your thoughts on the following setup:

2 x EVGA Titan Blacks SC Water Cooled
1 x Dell UltraSharp 32 PremierColor Monitor - UP3214Q 4K Ultra HD 3840 x 2160

Does anyone run the Dell 4k screen? What do you think of it? I got it at a super good price as we purchased over 21k worth of PCS from Dell.

I can't wait for it to arrive next Thursday.

    Hello,

i use this monitor in combination with 2x 780 TI Classified. It works fine. Be sure, that you get a revision A01, because the Revision A00 has many problems with 3840x2160 @ 60hz.

I cant say anything for the monitor but I run 4k on a Samsung Monitor with 2 780ti Classifieds in SLI that are watercooled. All I can say is gaming at 3840x2160 is INSANE!

More like gaming in 4k will drive you insane because of the low FPS. When I'm playing a game I don't focus on the graphics, I focus on playing the game, however, I do stop and checkout the graphics from time to time.

Haha. Well I have no problem in my case. With 2 780ti in SLI my FPS are 60+ always in Crysis, BF4, and Titanfall. I have AA turned off but everything else is on ULTRA. I turned off AA because I honestly can't tell a difference at this resolution. As long as FPS are above 60 then it doesn't matter anyway since the screen can only do 60hz. For me it is awesome and all my friends I have showed agree. It's costly but its the best. Even with just the one 780ti the games still ran pretty good on ULTRA. There would be a hiccup now and again but it was rare.

If your spending loot like that you should have considered going g-sync and grabbing the new asus rog swift monitor. One titan black would have been plenty then and you could have thrown all that extra loot into other parts.

Nah. That monitor isn't 4k and I want 4k. Not just for gaming but general use as well. There are no G-Sync monitors on the market that are 4k. As for the Titan; double 780ti's out perform it and the cost wasn't much more. And for other parts. I need none. My system is pretty much as maxed as possible.

Pretty much nothing more I want/need at the moment. Gonna wait and see what the next gen Intel CPU's and DDR4 brings alone with the next gen of video cards.

I have been gaming on a 4K screen now for 2 weeks,  Im at  4 way sli 780 TI classifeids,  and 4960x all water cooled,
Its not really worth it, the low 60hz mark,    ofc 4K is a nice touch when it comes to graphics, ofc crysis 3 and BF4 etc at 4K is stunning good quality,  But not really worth it,
Im at 120hz asus atm, Im a gamer  Im waiting on the Asus Rog swift pg278q to release   144 hz, Gsync and 1440p 8 Bit pannel is a much more greater choice

To each their own. I personally love it and would never go back. Like I said, I don't only use it to game but when I do I love it.

I just said its not worth it ;)   60hz is same as playing on a xbox or playstation to low
I love 4K to but only that comes in handy is the graphics nothing else

Im at asus 120hz vg278H  Im also tested 144hz Display  and from 120 to 144 its notice able :)  Thats why im getting the ROG SWIFT at release, 144hz 1440P G sync  its a better choice over 4K 60hz

Besides no videos yett is made in 4K
    Photos only
    and gaming thats it :P
    and 60hz :P
