If I am gonna update my mechanical HDD...want to do it with at least a 2GB Velociraptor. Not available yet...will wait and see. I have been debating adding a second SSD (Samsung EVP 1TB), but gets me pretty close to my limit on the second drive.

I saw this earlier today. At some point, I'm probably going to grab 4 or 8 of those drives to throw in my system for a large RAID. Not until I upgrade the rest of my system, however.

Although a lot of people are using cloud storage I still prefer to keep my own personal backup.

Yes exactly, also Cloud is managed and controlled, at some level, by someone else. Just not an idea I like very much. I like to have my own backups.

Ha ha ha, I know what you mean....but it was funny to see that. I can't believe how impressed I was to be able to buy a 1TB HDD 6 years ago for $100......Now I can get a 3TB for $30 more. Now 6TB's on a single drive.....amazing.
