Hi I have 2 of the eVGA superclock 780s with the nvidia stock cooler and am experiencing flashing screen and then sometime even total loss of signal when it gets really bad forcing me to hard reset the pc.

So far I have tried 4 different SLI ribbon cables. 2 of them made the flickering happen terribly and 2 of them made it better but it is still present in 75% of games causing the monitor to flicker or tear at certain points.
I have tried 3 different certified DP cables and none of these changed the issue.
I have tried my cards individually in slot 1 and this resolves the issue so it is only SLI that causes these problems as each card individually is fine.
I even followed a thread here and did the whole safe mode CCleaner and Driver Sweeper then fresh install recommended there by someone at EVGA but this also did not work.

The system is x79 (tried at stock but made no difference) 8gb geil 2133mhz memory Windows 8.1 x64 (not tried windows 7 x64 yet but I have a retail copy in storage could try this if you think it will help?)
I have a soundcard but I whipped it out to test and this did not work either. Also I tried the cards in slots 1 and 2 as I normally use 1 and 3 and this did not improve things.

I am at my wits end to find a solution as gaming with 1 780 is slooooow at this res. Lower res works fine in SLI including 1440p.

I would be looking at the power supply. Sounds like it's not keeping up.

Thanks for the suggestion. I ran another cable from another rail for card 2 but no improvement :( Keep ideas coming though! It's a 1200watt Silentgold PSU.

    vsync on or off?

vsync on causes a flickering and occasional crashing to black screen and vsync forced off creates less flashing initially but it crashes to blackscreen very quickly. I'm using skyrim and farcry 3 to test these suggestions as they are known to work in SLI on this monitor for other users.

I will enquire about getting an EVGA bridge as my solid motherboard ones flickered terribly and the 3 ribbons I have flickered less but still badly.

This issue is now solved. Lack of bandwidth on SLI connector. EVGA SLI connectors version serial 14 with 2.0 will fix this issue.

I have the exact same issue. So I bought one of the pro evga sli bridges. Even worse. Iv tried everything I can think of but whenever under load the display flips out. Flicking, choppy screen and at its peak it black screens till it catch up sort of. The only thing that makes any difference is the sli bridges. Any help would be great. Is there one out there that supports 4k? Why ship a 'pro' bridge that doesnt support 4k on rwo 780ti? Im at a loss lol.
    Regards

I can help here. It does need to be version 2.0 on the bottom of the connector. Also check the serial number on the box - only version starting with serial number 14 actually works but evga will arrange for ups to collect the old one and swap it out for you if you have the old serial starting with 13.

If anyone is having flickering issues with SLI pro bridge at 1440p and 4K.  Register your product to your account at evga.com.  Then under your "My Product" page, click "View Details" and click "Start New RMA".
