Evga Percision X 15 Not updating fan speed while in game

Hello everyone, long time EVGA user and first time poster.
 
Simple problem, hopefully simple fix...
 
When i go into games like archeage, my fan speeds reset to default.  When i atl tab out the cards are running at 70+ degrees and the fans ramp up to full speed.  My curve is set to run them at 80% when they are above 60 degrees.  Any ideas as to why the drivers take control while im in game and then when i'm out of the program EVGA takes control of the fans again?
 
I had to revert to the old version because it works perfectly.

    I have same issue, and was just jumping here to see if any one else run into this.
    Trying with guild wars 2. Noticed thanks to OSD that cards are hitting 90 degree.. some of them. got 4 titans.
    Turned on speed % to see what is going on and they are staying at like 30% fan speed even tho temp is hitting 70+
    When I alt tab out of game into precision x and refresh fan, like start fan curve and get out of it it refresh speed and hit desired target.
    Any idea what is going on?
     
    Also looks like sync is not working as I tried turning on manual speed for card with sync or all cards on but other cards are still having fan on auto so I need to adjust them manualy. 
    Any ideas?

    this is exactly what's happening it must be a problem with a new program because it works perfectly in the previous version.

    for now using manual setting as that work at least, cant find old version as well and I recently re installed system.
    will have to stick to manual for now.
    also sync does work but need to press apply :) that wasn't needed before if I remember correctly :)

    Manual is not good enough... Why would it not work?

    The new version of Precision has issues with fan control. The latest version of Precision, prior to Precison 'X15' you can download here: http://www.guru3d.com/fil...cision-x-download.html

    Looks like the new EVGA made Precision X is not yet ready for prime time. This is going to interesting down the road to see if EVGA made the right decision by making it themselves. I mean it's not going to be too cool if 6 months goes by and the EVGA made Precision X still doesn't even have the options/features of the previous (non EVGA made) versions.
