Raise your hand who believes it will look anything like this...... ( my hand is down, since you can't see me ) http://news.yahoo.com/first-image-call-duty-2014-shows-next-gen-145228460.html "" An image taken from this year's "Call of Duty" takes a giant stride across the uncanny valley -- and it's the first piece of material from Activision's annual blockbuster. Shown as part of a talk at the Game Developers Conference in March, the image was produced by lead studio Sledgehammer Games as an example of in-game character models for the next "Call of Duty," reports IGN. Its existence confirmed in a February investors call, and it having been in development since 2011, the new "Call of Duty" remains otherwise under wraps.Publisher Activision has traditionally chosen an early to mid-November release for its annual sales juggernaut; May 1 has become the preferred target date for debut trailers. But where the supremacy of "Call of Duty" as the first-person shooter du jour has been largely uncontested -- up until the release of "Grand Theft Auto V" in 2013 at least -- in 2014 there are two additional competitors for the crown."Titanfall" was released earlier this year for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC, developed by a team created when ex-"Call of Duty" series founders Jason West and Vince Zampella left Activision studio Infinity Ward, taking many of their staff with them; the game was a critical success and published by "Medal of Honor" label Electronic Arts.Meanwhile, Activision has another iron in the fire with its own brand new future facing franchise, the shared world shooter "Destiny" from the studio behind Xbox success "Halo." That's due September 9 on PlayStations 3 and 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. ""

I think since it has had ample development time it will be much better than the last few years in the series. I wouldn't be surprised if the graphics are much better, they have competition now in BF series. That being said I am not expecting much in hopes to be surprised, even if it is only a little.

A major change is long overdue. I haven't bought CoD the last few titles... the game is dead for me.

It's just marketing to build up hype. Didn't they do the same with the dog from CoD: Ghosts? Activision is probably going to pull the same trick that Ubisoft is doing all the time and that is to show a demo with better graphics and gameplay and then when the game comes out, we end up buying it out of hype and then we end up disappointed.

It's nothing but marketing hype. We already know the next gen consoles can't support graphics like that or games like Watchdog wouldn't look like garbage on PS4/XBone. PC version will be a joke like always due no server browser.

I have bought them all for the SP campaign , just like I am sure I'll buy this one too ,.... but come on - who keeps believing their hype train about superior graphics and innovation ??? That's like believing DICE/EA when they say they will work on nothing else until they get the bugs/ netcode fixed in BF4 .... * and yet, I still enjoy them

aka_STEVE_b I have bought them all for the SP campaign
I liked most of the SP campaigns and is the only reason I keep buying Call of Duty games but if this game is made by the same people that made Ghosts then I will pass on this one.

I buy them for the multi-player and Call of duty multiplayer sucks now because of all the cheaters. I bought ghost and I have yet to install the single player part of the game. Maybe I should because I'm not getting any satisfaction from the Multi-player.

If they sold the single player separately from the multiplayer at a discounted price, I might actually think about buying a COD game. But I haven't bought one since COD2; once COD3 went console exclusive, I lost interest.
