I have a few questions about this card. Not sure if this is the right place to ask though.

1. Is it worth it to upgrade to this card from a 680 GTX Classy?

2. What are the idle/load temps this card dishes out?

3. With only 3GB of vid memory will it be good enough for 2 monitors? 1080P Monitors at most.

Running games only at 1080p, there is no need to run out and upgrade. You may see some performance increase at these resolutions, but  should you look into higher resolution 1440 and up monitors and or surround. The 780 will  be a better choice at this point. 3gb will be more than enough for today's games at 1080p.

I have planned to play at higher resolutions since my computer can run far more than expected. I am planning to upgrade my monitors as well. My computer is about a year old and lately I'm looking for a bit more power for games like crysis 3, metro last light, and a couple more high ends. Also looking into stable video editing.

    1. Depends on your needs.  Will it outperform the 680 Classy? Yes.
    2. Will depend on your environment/overclocks/airflow but shouldn't really be getting past mid 70's with adequate ventilation
    3. There may be situations where you could get close to using all that VRAM but for most scenarios you'll do fine.

With video editing, you will need to check with the developer for a gpu compatibility list. There is software out there that has yet to take advantage of the newer gpus out there.

I'll do some research on that. My airflow in my computer is very good! my own 680 idles at 25c and never gets above 55c on most games. Thanks for your answers!

Simply put, I love my classifieds. If you want to upgrade, it is a good choice. It's a big choice. They are beautiful and work outstanding.

Yeah I have a 780TI Classy I will be putting up on the for sale area once I hit 50 posts... Been outstanding, but I am going to a smaller micro ATX setup and it just wont fit!

If you do upgrade - Get the back plate - dropped the temps on mine some, and it looks out - standing!

I was JUST about to make a post and ask if the backplate would be worth getting. Drops in temps is ALWAYS a + in my book. The cooler it runs, the better the performance as well right?

So I just got my 780 ti 20 min ago and easily installed, and ran a test. Everything seems amazing but I do have ONE question. Is this card OC'd by default? My old 680 classy was, but in precision it didn't have its target temp and power set. When I open precision it has a set target temp and power set as well. Is this normal? I'm just wondering

Yes it is in the LN1 bios .. You need to switch it over to LN2 then you can push it further.. Just note it really wont go much further without water unfortunately..

With my skynet bios and voltage at 1.212v I can take mine over 1300mhz core.

I upgraded because I wanted to. And that card is a true monster, there's literally nothing this card can't do at 1080p. There are many people who say it's a waste of money to upgrade from a 680 to the 780 Ti, let alone to play at 1080p with this card but whatever. I had to get more performance power for the upcoming games so I upgraded and so far I'm a bit over 2 months together with her. And I love that thingy, never regretted getting it although it's damn expensive.

My card idles at 25-27°C depending on the temperature outside and inside my room.

LN1... LoL! You mean normal.. There is no Ln1 :-P the Ln2 bios is meant for people with extreme cooling. There are many new bios options over on Overclock.net. As long as you leave the normal bios alone and never overwrite it, or put the normal one on if you accidentally do overwrite, then your warranty will be fine as well.
