I picked up a couple 9201's.  My 24 hour average is in the toilet, but it says I'm making ~480K PPD?  Am I losing work?

For some reason the QRB hasn't been credited on most, if not all, of the 9201 WUs, so you're earning the base 4000 points instead of the 80k or so points you should be getting.  The project owner posted about 45 minutes ago saying he thinks he's fixed the issue.  Based on what happened the last time this issue appeared in a beta project, I would expect that WUs issued before the fix was in won't get the QRB; you'll have to wait until the WUs assigned after the fix took effect.  I also expect they won't re-issue the QRB points for all the WUs that didn't get it, as they feel that problems like this are par for the course for beta.

Thank you for the clarification.    I guess I'll see in a few hours.

I think it's fixed.  3pm update looks much better!

Opolis
Now that the PrimeGrid event is over I've got a handfull of projects crunching and my other rig on bigadv.  Going full steam but gaming is cutting down my crunching points a bit  I love the overall ppd stats, a consolation since pst is bringing up the rear!  I'm holding it down at #10 on crunching.  I see wrinvert creeping up on the #10 spot for folding too

I sold my p67 folding rig this past weekend so I've been down 150kppd. but it got cold here so I fired off the house heaters (5 780classy) and crunching on the 3930k. I was trying to keep costs down this month to save for the new build. prepping a case for x99 and looking into 750ti's for folding here once they get that mess working.

quick question I probably should have asked before this started....  Are there any crunching projects not being tracked?  I saw a list somewhere that split the gpu and cpu projects up, but I can't find it....
http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=userbycpid&cpid=0b8da854c54b1a761969e962c0afd72c
are any of these not being tracked?  Minus, of course, the dead ones like orbit....

That list can be found here. The only difference from that list is POEM was placed as a CPU project, not GPU. Everything else is the same.

wrinvert
Since opolis got me up and running now can i be added to est cpu crunching list? If its a hassle dont worry about it, doing it for the cause not the glory. Just trying to help the team :-)

I will try to get you added today or tomorrow. So far you are the only change. Anyone else?

Ok, so I got home and checked in on my machine. I set the advanced flag last night and after I completed the 9201 unit that was folding I got a 9101. But for some reason it's folding with a TPF of 9 minutes 39 seconds. This is on my 760 with the 335.23 drivers. Not sure what the deal is on this unit because just a couple days ago I was folding them with a 4 minute TPF. Restarted the machine to see if something was just mad or what, but nothing yet. May need to update to the 337 drivers and see if that changes anything.

I assume you had gone through the procedure to get the latest copy of beta core 17 0.0.55, which had the GK104 fix.  When you set the client to advanced, that caused it to use the non-beta copy of core 17 you have, which would be a version older than 0.0.55 that does not have the fix.

The 9201 QRB issues appear to have been fixed as of now, so you should be able to go back to the beta flag.

Yup, your exactly right. Wasn't even thinking about that happening. Beta flag put back in and core 17 re-downloading.

It looks like you are chugging along okay but you may have had a run in with the 9201 work units getting only 4000 points each on several completed. It seems to have straightened out now though.

If you're curious as to your hourly update totals, I've added a tab to the Hourly History spreadsheet.  Just click the link, find your name, and that's how many points Stanford reported for you, per each hour of the contest.

https://docs.google.com/s...p;usp=drive_web#gid=11

I'll have to manually update the newer lines as they are added to the sheets, but I will try not to fall too far behind.

Hey drougnor, that's cool!
The first thing I noticed is the guy next to me, (Xavier) is still pulling 4000 point units. He should fix that!

I would like to get everyone who would like to be included in the crunching divisions done tonight. Even if you just want to do a little bit of work, it is okay. I just need to know to look for your stats. Try to let me know in the next few hours if you are interested. Same for any late entrants.

Just anyone who was folding only and wanted to be able to contribute to crunching as well. Not a major change, I just wanted to give everyone a chance to do work on the projects they want. It all helps!

Big brother is adopting one last Classy. I get back to my computer tomorrow, finally.. When they new cards come in, I will register it using Sajinor's affiliate code for coming up with this challenge up, and if I can get more stuff to register over time, I will register it to the ones that have helped this entire challenge come to fruition.

wrinvert
Since opolis got me up and running now can i be added to est cpu crunching list? If its a hassle dont worry about it, doing it for the cause not the glory. Just trying to help the team :-)

I am sorry for the delay, but you should now be reporting on the 12:15 PM eastern update. It will probably take a few more updates for you to show up, as it ignores you until you have a reported score.

I have also decided I will drop the deadline and allow people to request division changes through the remainder of the contest. This still includes the understanding that it may take me a couple days to get it done. In hindsight, I should have set up the baseline for wrinvert as soon as he requested (easy step), and done the stats formatting later. That way the performance over the couple days would not have been lost. I am sorry about that.

But not in the 80s and 90s as some users have to deal with.
You also live next door to Santa

Howdy, Neighbor! I have friends in Aroostook County who were reporting decent snowfall, too.
