Thought it might be nice if we had a thread we can report to others when a upward price change happens with any coins.
LTC is up at the moment some from its low of 22.xx now topping at 24.25 at the time of posting.

Yea that Amazon gift card site makes about 3$ per LTC charge at the current price so you have to remember that before placing a order.
If price is 24 you only get 21 per 1 LTC. Better example is price has to be 28 to buy 25$ card for a even 1 LTC or there about at this time.

Not from what I seen, when LTC was at $21 on the gift card site it only needed 4.824 LTC for a $100 card last time I ordered one, they are spot on with thier conversion

I didn't have to pay any extra charge, I just think they pull thier LTC market price from somewhere else, not btc-e which is why its a little lower then btc-e is.

For example the www.coins2coins.com site is currently at $23 and giftcard site is at $22, and BTC-e right now is $25 as of this post.

    thats why its a $2 - $3 difference

yea so all 3 sites could be pulling thier data from different sources, just because one is lower then the other doesn't mean they put a charge on top.

If I were forced to predict the future, I would say May-June will show another bitcoin pump to $1500-$2000. it may be short lived and dump back to $600-$700 range but it wouldn't hurt to be prepared for this. All the solid alts will correspond like they did the last 2 times. Bitcoin is almost at the 'too big to fail' point. Just need the vc guys in silicon valley to do their thing.

China is not what caused last years $1000 per bitcoin bubble. China also didn't cause its rebalance down to 400-500 its at now. The price went up because the big boys had just started selling millions of dollars of asics and they wanted people to buy the asics. it was all manipulation surrounding equipment sales. China did help to pump back up to around $700 after the drop to $300 but the average trader/holder/miner ie: non commercial people, no mater what country didn't cause the massive spike. now we have second and third generation asics hitting the market along with scrypt asics. if the manufacturers of those want to sell another $100 million worth then they will orchestrate another huge pump. The silicon valley vc guys also have huge investment in infrastructure and compliance efforts. They wont let the price die due to their recovering their investment hinges on average people using bitcoin. average people wont use bitcoin if the market shows a consistant downtrend.

summary: China only temporarily and marginally will effect long term prices.

Can't wait for the dogecar to race. Hopefully this will open Dogecoin (and by extension cryptocurrencies in general) to a new audience. I always like seeing positive stories like this in mainstream media outlets vs. most of the negative ones surrounding others (Bitcoin).

Ya good to see Doge coins back on the move a little. CoinedUp buy prices is low 0.00004414,
but placing it at a higher value of 0.0000496 to 0.00004985 people have been buying it up at those heights.
I sold 10k just to see at mixed prices of 0.00004965 "50-100" sales and up to 0.00004985 on the bigger "1,000" Doge count sales.
I started at a lower value offering 50 doge  for 0.00004965 then add a little more 100 to the next step up to get the ball rolling, then
500 and 3,000  at 0498-04985 steps upwards. Seems to help some if you entice them a little to get to the bigger amounts.

Edit; should have stated this was Doge to LTC trades, but anyone watching coin values probably already knew that.
