just running one 27" VA monitor, if I SLId 2, 3gb cards, will it help playing non-3d games? Or does it just help in multiple monitors? I just play games like Skyrim, BL2, BF3 etc? Is it worth it? I think Id need to put more fans in my case too. Thanks

If you sli any two of the same cards. You will see some sort of performance gain on this system either with just 1 monitor and or multiple monitors. If this monitor is only 1080p, for the most part depending on the card your are referring to sli may be a bit over kill for the most part. If you can tell us more about what cards and or monitor resolution you are working with or want. We can better assist you.

It's for a 27" 1080p and it would be two 660 GTXs (non ti)

You may want to check out guru3d's review of two 660's in sli that has charts of different games you can look at. It would appear that 2 660s are enough for your 1080p monitors on max settings.
