Tried the beta and it is showing voltages higher that CPUZ and causing the same issue in the BIOS. Where my saved profile has it at a offset of +15 VCORE with my 3930 OC to 4.0 (1.36) but with EleetX it jumps to 1.41 to 1.43.

I also like to know why we do not have a complete BIOS, Dave asked what else he could do with his book I say what book, you don't really help with explaining how to get the overclock we are looking for any more.
How about some "DIGI + Power Controls - so we can tweak the CPU Vcore, CPU VSA, CPU VTT, and DRAM Voltage, A separate Page for CPU Performance Settings, and a Page for GPU DIMM Post.

I think as far as EleetX is concerned, they have never had it working accurately with the X79 boards.
The BIOS Guide I believe is just that, a Guide.
I'm sure Dave didn't go further into it as every ones set ups are different, different RAM, different vcore and multiplier limits
each CPU can handle, are you water cooling or just on air etc. so many different variables.
I actually think he did a great job, explained what each setting does, what our own systems find optimal is up to us to find out.

    Iam Sneaky,
My point is The Bios itself is very limited in what you can do so Daves Guide is a guide to what? I see you have the very same board I had in your sig, but to run the very same CPU in Offset Mode @ 4.2 I was using 1.328 Vcore with and offset of +20, a VTT voltage of 1.15 and VCCSA (VSA) to 1.15 which got to my .3v of Vcore and of course I had other setting to help with the clock as well. But with these Bios your stuck overvolting the CPU, and you really can't tell because the Bios is saying one thing Eleet and EleetX are saying somthing else. CPUZ seems to have a better view of thing but heck you can't tell. Oh and by the way according to the EleetX Beta it is for the X79 boards but it is not working correctly or it was designed for an older bios and needs to be updated for 210 or it was designed for the 212 he had on his guide.
I guess I shouldn't have skipped the X58 series because getting the setting on the EVGA Dark Board is like Black Magic. Still a fan just want somthing that tell me more like ROG guys did and how Jacob did, at one time he posted a quick how to get to 4.6 guide fot the P67 and Z68 boards. I know i will get the "why didn't I get the Asus Dark" but hey the Classiffied replacement board was never used and collecting dust and I wanted to use the EVGA Colors.

All software voltage monitoring software will be different, but people usually say that CPU-z is more accurate

    You want the truth?
Pull out a quality digital volt meter and check the voltages directly at the voltage check points on the edge of the board.
Any software provided voltages are merely educated guesses.

Im diving in now breaking out the flute now. Got the board working again I think I had to many drives. not really sure but now I have to dine these points. Would the octapus for the ebot be the propper place for the voltages? I now it sounds like a dumb question but I really don't to screw this board up.

I am pretty sure they have an EVBOT firmware version updated for the X79 DARK so would think voltages
should be correct but you might want to ask that question in the EVBOT section.
I know many here use AIDA64 to read voltages and temps and from what I have heard it is the most accurate out
of all the monitoring apps with the X79 DARK. I have been using it for years and has never failed me BUT
I don't have my DARK build up and running yet ..... soon.

My god man ... why so many drives? 3 sets of RAID 0 SSD's, 1X RAID 1 Raptors and a Back up 1TB.
Why don't you get rid of all those drives, get a decent size SSD for your OS (256/480/512gb), 'maybe' another
for your games (although a 512GB drive for OS would probably accommodate games and apps too)
and then maybe two HDD's in a raid array for storage and back up?

Just a suggestion, would also reduce all the cable clutter I'm sure those drives create.

Keep playing around with your OC settings, you'll get to a point where you will be happy and
you know if you need any help there are always people here to answer questions.

Can you post some pics of your build? Would love to see it with Nate's blocks in there.

I will get the PIC's soon I am reloading and going about it slowly. I figuered out why I couldn't boot, it is power to the ram. I set it to show 1.65 but but i just used the Flute and and found out I my 1.65 is only 1.629v and I need the 1.65v.
Thanks for the Software pointer I will be looking for it. Thank you so much!
