1) Sony Vegas Pro: This is only for cutting and adding audio. There are similar software such as Adobe Premiere but they are harder to use if you are new to this. Also Sony Vegas has a better audio editor.

2) Adobe After Effects: Difficult to use for a new user but if you learn how to use it you can make any type of video you want. This is ONLY for adding special effects. DO NOT use this for editing audio and putting your video together. This is only for adding explosions, blood, gunfire, ufos, make people into zombies, and sooo much more.

3) Cinema 4D: This is a simple to use 3D software. You can use this to make 3D animated movies or make cool 3D titles and add cool 3D special effects to your videos.

4) Adobe Flash: This is great for making animated cartoon videos. Almost every animated video on YouTube is made with this software.

5) Audacity: This is a great free audio editor. This can make many things that video softwares can not do. Auto tuning your voice with this software.

6) FL Studio: This is great and easy for making your own music. You can make Rock and Metal music or you can make Dubstep, etc.

7) Adobe Photoshop: Edit videos anyway you want. Very helpful for Video Thumbnail art.
