what will happen if u connect ur pc load to ac regulator 500 VA=400 watt, while ur  whole pc  must have 1600 va=1000 watt what will happen?

    it wont turn on for more than a second if the psu is high quality.
    low quality psu, who knows... could blow up, smoke , kill everything connected to it.

    i did this without my known about this technical stuff my psu  stop working but it still give power to motherboard and case fans 
    but wonot boot for me any more , my psu is Corsiar HX 850 WATT , my psu now at workshop for fixing i hope  only psu damaged 
     my rig was :
    Core i7 4770k
    EVGA gtx 780ti SC W/acx
    Veangence 16 GB 1600mhz
    PSU Corsair HX 850 WATT
    Samsung 256 GB SSD Pro series 
    1 TB WD black caviar 64mb cash memory
    Z87 GD45 Gaming motherboard from MSI
    i hope my pc is fine while psu comes with board in its circuit that shuts off pc in over voltage over current etc ..... what do u think people happened to my pc
