All companies do this. You will only receive a brand new card if you're within the first 30 day window from when you bought it, after that you will receive a re-certified card.

    wrong!!!
for example Corsair sends you a new one
and in 2 cases for me she sends me replace (brand new) without asking me the old defective one
thats mean i didn't paid even 1 euro for rma

but now i payed 30Euro to send to EVGA (Germany) the defective card
and they will send me a re-certified card
the question is: the re-certified replacement card will work properly??
as i am reading in this thread some users received 2-3 replacements which was defective
thats mean they was without VGA (in my case i paid 1000Euro to have the best card) for 1 or 2 moths
and paid 2-3 times to send the defective replacement back to evga

conclusion: i didn't steal anything from anyone. I payed and i want to receive.i think it makes sense. specifically when the product is the flagship and too expensive and the company is so legendary

    this is the difference

I was talking about companies that deal in video cards, not companies that deal in PSU's, Memory, etc. Yes, the replacement should work properly.
