Hello all,

I recently took apart my PC to do my usual spring cleaning, and noticed that my H100i is only being held on my two screws! In a panic, I daisy-chained zip ties around it in my HAF-X to support it for now, but I would REALLY like to figure out something else as if the rad falls...everything is going to be completely destroyed.

I purchased the 6/32 x 1.25 screws that were recommended online, but I don't think they are long enough to go through my GT fans and the top of the HAF X mounting bracket itself, because the threads don't 'catch', I can just keep twisting and twisting to no avail (which is probably why it was only supported by two screws)..

Does anyone have any ideas? I would be more than willing to purchase some longer screws, so long as they would not puncture the radiator..so if anyone has any ideas as to what size I could use I would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Well it turns out that even 1.5" screws do not work. I believe at this point that somehow my H100i mounting points are stripped.

Not sure what I can do at this point, wider screws perhaps?

Yes, they are 6/32 bolt half threaded. A suggestion is to contact Corsair, and ask for another set. Just have your invoice handy.

I actually could use alot of those screws too lols. I have a H100i as well, but willing to pay whatever to get up to 88 screws lol. But I can live with 64 screws I think, just been trying to find nice black half threaded screws for awhile with no luck.

Sadly, the 6/32 x 1.25" screws are not long enough. I have a bunch of these and they just will not thread through the mounting bracket on my haf X with two fans on top, they are just a HAIR short. I could probably file down the raised edges of the fans if need be..but would obviously just prefer to get a longer screw.

I think I need a longer size :-( not sure if they make longer sizes of 6/32 x 1.25" though..

    Thanks guys!

I picked up all the screws I need for my H100/100i at ACE Hardware and they are stainless-steel to boot.
I have 25mm and 38mm fans and there is no support for 38mm fans on any Corsair products but they run great at low speed and run COLD when running High Speed at 116CFM. You can even go as high as 184CFM Watch Out For Them Fingers.

You could fit them to use M4 Screws but you need to make sure you cover your hardware well to keep the metal shavings from falling on your Motherboard or other components in your case.
Once you set them up to use M4 you the below:
    $2.99 Radiator Mounting Screw & Nut, 25mm   SKU: BLT-HX025
    or
    $2.99 Radiator Mounting Screw & Nut, 38mm   SKU: BLT-HX038

You can also get standard M4 Screws from ACE Hardware, I use M4 70x35 and M4 70x30 in Box of 50 each.
