I didn't see this on Evga's Z87 Classified memory compatibility listing.

Anybody running "Corsair Dominator Platinum 32GB (4x8GB) DDR3 2133 MHz - (CMD32GX3M4A2133C9)" on the Z87 Classified?  If so, how do you like them?  Any recommendations?

I'm finally setting up a system using my Zalman TNN 500AF case

My target equipment is the following:
- Evga Z87 Classified motherboard
- Corsair Dominator Platinum Memory (model open)
- Intel 4770k CPU
- 3 x Noctua(ns-s12a) case fans

I already have the following:
Antec HCP 1200 PSU  (will be running the PSU externally from the case)
Sandisk Extreme 2 480gb SSD
2 EVGA GTX 480's (will be upgrading - hopefully the 780's are on sale for Memorial Day)

Most likely it will work, the compatibility list is the RAM that EVGA has tested. As they can't test all the memory out there the list is short. But still most likely it will work

On Corsair's website they have a memory finder which helps you see what part numbers of memory they (Corsair) have tested:

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

Thanks for the info, though verified memory for the Z87 classified is minimal at best.  I'll be picking up the board soon, Amazon has it for $309 ($329 - $20 evga rebate).

Yeah I have used memory that hasn't been verified before and it has worked for me.

I'll probably do the same.  I just have to make sure of the return policy.

I didn't notice this before, but are the 2 display ports, Thunderbolt ports?

    Both are mini-displayport; no Thunderbolt.

Although they share the same connector it is not wired for thunderbolt

If you are using an air cooling option for your CPU you're likely to run into issues with the RAM height.  I had to trim the fins on my Noctua NH-D14 to get the Dominators in slots 2&4.

Don't know if this still matters, but that is memory I am currently running on my Z87 Classified at this time. I haven't seen any issues as of yet.

Dominator Platinums are the biggest ripoff out there today. Look into some quality G. Skill for half the price

Dominators are very good memory. I never had problems with dominators. I only use Corsair for Ram.

Corsair memory is some of the best memory I've had. Never had a problem with any memory from them. You get what you pay for.

Nothing personal when i say this but if you think its that great you need to start buying some different memory. G. Skill Trident X's are some of the best memory available today and the current world record holder.

:-)  to each their own.  Mine are going to remain in my system, and I will be buying XPG from here on out.  I have had good performance and luck out of both companies, but I haven't used G Skill yet.  I am sure the "Current World Record Holder" ram sticks were appropriately binned prior to any record attempts, just like all other items that hold world records.  I am not a record performance guy, when it comes to something functioning at what I paid for, but If a set of GSkills were to fdall into my lap, I wouldn't cry at all.
