Hi i was getting tired of my gpu not being used to it's full potential so i decided to download evga precision x mainly due to the fact i was tired of my computer getting really hot whilst using games such as league of legends, borderlands 2 and dayz
i'll upload images that i screencapped to show you guys most of my specs and what precision x is telling me right now, i'm not all that tech savvy so i was hoping you guys could help me.
i've included my  ram, processor and graphics card

Any help or info i can get would be greatly appreciated as i want to get the most out of my computer so i can enjoy gaming and making videos and such

i'm using a gtx 660 graphics card
a amd phenom x4 II black edition 3.4ghz quad core processor
10 gb corsair ddr3 ram
a 500w power supply
i'm using one monitor which is uhh 19 inches i think
operating system  windows 7 home premium
 
is there anything else you would like to know? i'll try find it out

i'm kinda worried about overclocking it, it used to overheat a lot but that's mainly cause it hadn't been cleaned out in a while, i only have a few fans in my system, one in my graphics card, on pushing air out of my case, my cpu's fan and my power supply's massive fan, i used to have another in but it kind of messed up and broke.
and if i overclock it i'm worried that it'll result in my system frying
how could i even overclock it by the way? cause i have no idea how to 

I believe so yeah i personally don't put together my computer i have a friend of mine who runs a business do it for me, but yeah it's using the stock heatsink, i had started to overheat beforehand as i mentioned due to not cleaning it out, which i think i will be doing every month now
