Answered650 gtx hdmi problem

The first time I plugged into the mini hdmi, widows 7 detected the second monitor. However, now windows does not detect the second monitor. I have unplugged both ends of the hdmi cable hoping to clear the problem. It did not help.
 
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

    How long is your hdmi cable that you are using? Have you tested the hdmi cable with another device? Do you have another cable to test with?

    My hdmi cable is 18' long. I changed to another jack on the of the TV. Everything worked correctly then.
