Do we all start at 2400 Hours 12AM from Our Time Zone or Eastern Time?
Thanks

As with other contests, the start time (on the 20th) will not be made public until after the start has happened. This discourages queuing up completed projects before the start. It also covers up any false starts I may make while getting the stats going.

The international distribution has been made:
  • BadBertie -> Central
  • CHiLL72 -> Mountain
  • CleWe -> Mountain
  • DutchForce -> Mountain
  • Orange_1050 -> Mountain
  • Neocasses -> Pacific
If you have any issues with this distribution, please bring it up quickly. There is only so much longer I can make changes to the system.

Ack, Mountain just got a lot of firepower. I know Orange runs three or four i7's with multiple GPU's.

This is true, I know I asked for the mountain Group, but it was because of the Word about them being outnumbered in past contests.
bcav is a one man team ha ha ha.
Me and bcav fight better shoulder to shoulder for the team.

Ok, all Projects are put on "Empty the que", ready for tomorrow.

Team stats are up! You should now be able to find yourself on your respective teams. The numbers are still incorrect, but will be fixed upon the contest start. Other than that, this is what you should be seeing throughout the contest.

What sort of graphs would you all be interested in seeing? I should be able to tie in some pie charts or some daily production charts.

A couple PM questions made me aware that I didn't explain a small part of the Team Stats. Crunching is set to ignore "0", so if you have no points in GPU or CPU crunching, you will not show up on the list. You are still in both divisions and you will pop up as soon as your production is awarded and collected by us. This means that as soon as I start the contest, the list will be empty, as everyone starts at 0. It was done this way so people who had no intention of working for another division would not have their name sitting at "0" for the entire contest.

Since I'm still crunching WCG I'm glad there is an evil plan in place to keep me from sand bagging the points.  It's not my intention I'm just doing my usual thing... tomorrow I'll fire up the computer I'm on now!  :)

I have to go to Seoul from Wednesday Morning until Saturday Night.  I am going to leave my rigs chugging while I am gone, and have a buddy come in and check my room when they get a chance.

I am also thinking about popping in the computer store at the Exchange (our version of an overpriced walmart) and grab the stuff to put together another cheap rig, with some AMD parts, and just leaving it to run on the ModRight Mat.  Thoughts?

All right you ES Pimps, I'll be CPU crunching PrimeGrid when that challenge starts at 12:16 pm EST. Then when sajinor wakes up, I'll do GPU crunching on some sandbag worthy project for the duration of the PrimeGrid challenge. (Wednesday 12:16 pm). Then I'll start Pimp-folding dem proteins on the GPU and find another worthy CPU project.
Good crunching/folding to you all!

You are signed up for crunching as well. The team stats are set to ignore "0" so you will not pop up until you have been awarded some points and our collections have found them. You did end up in the folding too, somehow.

Just to clarify, all points from PrimeGrid will still end up in the GPU division, as PrimeGrid can utilize the GPU (and I imagine many will once the PrimeGrid Challenge is over).

The 2014 Time Zone Challenge is on!

The stats collections are running well and that means we are live as of Midnight PDT (3AM EDT)! Now is the time to steal computers, sabotage other teams and hurl bad weather for the glory of your time zone!

Enjoy!
