Just wondering if anyone is playing, and your first impressions? I was a part of the first round of beta-testing, and thought it a grind...wondering if it gained some personality, atmosphere, and a story/plot.

If only the trailers had actually been how the game plays and looks... It would be the game of the decade...

I played 2 betas, not for me especially at $60.00 plus $15 a month, no way. I will agree it is a grind, at least in the beta it was.

A lot of bug fixes seemed to have worked - I haven't hit a quest line I couldn't finish yet in the beta's I practically couldn't move on most of them in daggerfall (some have fixes like abominations(one mote site worked) - have fewer spawn sites and at the docks in daggerfall (assassin quest) they went to one spawning box instead of several) and anchors work - they might have to cycle if armed and unused - you have to wait for dispersal and new one coming down (seen it happen - person trips it early - ie ..not enough people... they die - new band comes up and can't advance it = so they wait til it goes away and it spawns a new one) I suggest mining a lot and doing your research for armor/weapons/clothes,enchanting,and alchemy takes 6hrs to learn a Blacksmithing. woodworking or clothing trait -destroying a item in the process - so I take garbage items and do them all each day (provided I haven't learn the trait already - and I have junk items...less powerful that i can convert) And buy as much backpack and bank space as you can - this requires mining wood/ore and chests and fights for loot (be aware fights cost you some armor damage and some dough) provisioning - im at level 34 - so Im able to make to make food and booze if your into that then you have to raid every box, barrel and shop and house to find recipes and ingredients...good luck - recipes are hard to find so are some ingredients so doing research and mining is a grind you have the choice to use a skill point to have a hireling go out and fetch wood or ore or ingredients/plants/runes (but only 1 skill point for each crafting line) buying stuff is expensive - selling same stuff to shops nets you 10c on the dollar - better off trying to trade or sell to other user they have to fix the spam sellers in the chat window - like banning people and IP addresses (some promote ESO websites) I Love the dark anchor battles... and group quests tough quests - some are made only for groups - so if you go in alone expect a really tough go (I know I died quite a few times) for example spindleclutch cave - the spiders ...momma spawns them so not only do you have to kill the boss mamma the babies will do you in by themselves so use soul drain and soul summons(you get to respawn without soul gems once every few hrs) charge soul gems and have potions handy and charge weapons using soul gems too if you want to level fast - avoid combat and just explore - you get experience for finding locations (I think this is wrong... never swing a sword or throw a spell and level up?)

Yeah, beta for me was disappointing. The only MMO "innovation" was the first person camera haha. So I'll wait until F2P for this game comes along

Skyrim 6 lol? The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is the only one set in Skyrim. The people who made the main Elder Scrolls franchise as well as Fallout 3 are not the same as the people who made The Elder Scrolls: Online. Totally different studios, so ESO won't really affect TES 6 or Fallout 4. If Bethesda Game Studios plans on Fallout 4 or TES 6 next, they've probably been working on it for the past few years.

Actually there are many fps mmorpgs that have that. Not innovative.
