Many are complaining that even though they have "Hide Taskbar" checked...the taskbar stays on top of windows until you resort to multiple clicking to get it to shut down (me included)

Another issue ...doing all the Windows updates on 8.1, Windows update doesn't work anymore.  I click on "Check for Updates" and it just sits there searching and searching and never comes back and says "There are no updates available for your computer"

Be careful with this update.  If you find more things odd after the update...keep updating this thread

Thanks

Bob

I uninstalled MS update KB2919355, which basically disables all the new fixes in the Spring update and now taskbar and Windows update work normally again.  Not all that impressed with the Spring update so far, so back to all updates BUT the Spring update.  Microsoft...No thank you!

My Windows Update would not work after the new update either. I've had issues with Windows Update in the past and most, if not all, of them were resolved by resynching my time with microsoft's time server. That did the trick for me. Hopefully if anyone else is having this problem and sees this post it will work for them too.

If you're not sure what I mean, right click the time in your task bar>Adjust Date/Time>Internet Time>Change Settings>Update Now.

Smooth sailing here on my 2 Windows 8.1 machines. No issues at all. Not saying all but some of it. Could be how people maintain their computers. You know install and run any thing. Use registry cleaners, don't update their drivers etc etc. I personally was going to do a clean install on both machines using the new iso. But, like I said. The updates went on just fine and no need to do it.
