Note, this is the "formal" announcement, I know me and others have know about it for awhile before :)

You can't order it until next year. It will be available on the EVGA website.

That is awesome!!  I want 4...  but can probably only afford 1 or 2. Wonder how much it will cost?  I'm going to guess $999, but I'm basing that on my own intuition, not any facts.

Sounds VERY interesting. Probably not getting one, but will keep a watch on how well these do.

Note to EVGA: You might want to look over that article again. You have reversed TiN's names.

    Engineered to Overclock
The ultimate GeForce GTX 780 Ti has arrived. Introducing the EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti Classified K|NGP|N Edition. This card is the final answer in the search for the greatest overclocking graphics card on the planet.
This card does not hold back, with up to 450W of dedicated GPU power, enhanced PLL circuitry, improved GPU power plane, 10CM fans, included backplate, preinstalled dedicated PWM baseplate, voltage regulation enhancements and more. As you can see, there is a reason why this card is named after the world’s Top Overclocker.
Extreme overclockers Vince “K|NGP|N” Lucido and Tsemenko “TiN” Illya demand the best when it comes to performance and overclocking, so they set out to co-design this product along with EVGA, and geared it for the ultimate overclocker.
“In order to break world records these days you need some serious hardware,” said Vince “K|NGP|N” Lucido. “This card was engineered to serve one purpose… be the world’s best overclocking graphics card. Expect GPU clockspeeds at over 1.85GHz with extreme cooling.”
“With the EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti Classified K|NGP|N Edition graphics card, we focused on the basic demands that are needed when doing extreme overclocking,” said Illya “TiN” Tsemenko. "Capable hardware design and heavy power delivery capacity is key for performance dominance and the ultimate gaming experience. So too is a unique power convertor able to provide over 450W of clean voltage for every kind of overclocking!"

Ahhhhhhh.  Sorry Missed that.  That's actually pretty reasonable when considering the prices of nvidia cards lately...  Fastest card on the Planet, built to order for $800...  Not Bad.

    AWESOME CARD!

But, I have to say something mean...the two guys holding the card (Vince "K|NGP|N" Lucido and Tsemenko "TiN" Illya) look as if it was the worst day of their lives.  They look totally depressed.  Heck, fake smiles would have been better.  If being an engineer means looking as depressed as that, who the heck would want to submit their resume' to EVGA for a job??  Just saying...  EVGA PR, looks like you have some things to...umm...fix...

For one thing your Titan has 192 LESS cuda cores than a GTX 780 Ti. This card has better VRMs and better memory chips + better overclocking and it also allows more power delivery to the card.

This card is made specifically for overclocking. The Titan card is made specifically for computational areas.

I would say you can not compare this card to the Titan at all.

Wait so will the Kingpin edition be released this week or this next week at least? I sold my 680 last week so that I would buy the Kingpin before christmas, so basically I'm surviving on Intel HD 3000 graphics! So should I buy the regular 780ti or are those comments true that it will be available until next year?

It will not be available until early 2014. Jacob has already confirmed that and it doesn't look like there is any chance of changing.

I'm really disappointed I was looking forward to having it :( I just ordered the 780ti ACX SC
Although I can't say I understand why they wouldn't release it around christmas... I mean I'd imagine that the big bucks would come in during those dates :|

6gb+ is not needed for extreme overclocking. That is what this card is about.

If you're not doing LN2 runs you're not doing extreme overclocking.
