Well it is very confusing! How does one other folder have 21 WU's completed with 71k and have 91.6 points... And another have 9Wu's with 48k and have 58.1 points??? LOL... This must be new math

Yes it did. I have 2/3 less points. So it also does not help. There is no benefit to our team, I hurt it instead. This sucks...

If you pull back, you will not get as much credit as if you keep pushing full speed. It is a case of the adjustment wasn't in place from the start as Troy was hoping that everybody would peoduce very close to what they estimated. Since there were a few significant overproducers, the solution was implemented. As I understand it, the way Troy set this thing up, the more everybody produces across the board, the less 'reduction' there would be to and overproduction. I haven't heard all of the details, but it sounds like a pretty ingenious idea.

Now I could be misunderstanding (Most likely the case) but every single team has already doubled the "Projected" numbers. This is weird and confusing

I think you are misunderstanding that one. We are not doubling our production in PPD. Because we have been in this contest for 2 days we have twice the one day production estimate.

I shoulda stuck with my 70k prediction. Now im over my 60k by 20-30 depending on crashes and what not. Gotta shut down my 560 rig im thinkin to keep me at 60k. Trying to get a solid 2-3 day run but i keep having to restart one of the rigs so im losing consistency in trying to get an accurate couple days or run est.  meh!

AB, there was always the statement that overproduction could result in a reduction in effect of the overproduction the following is a snip of the Contest Format page that has been there since the signups started. I'm not trying to argue any points or create any controversy, I just want you to understand that Troy wasn't pulling some new rules out of thin air by implementing the adjustment system.

I think its okay cause even though everyone is overproducing, its a close race to all right now. Funny though, we have the most folding points :D Its the mission for 700Million right now :) I wonder how close we will get to 25M in a day.

Can't get my new car into my sig. Don't even remember how I got the first one there.

I think where I'm hosting the sigs is laggin a bit..could be part of sigs being weird. I donno.

If you guys want I can host the sigs personally. I lost my main website cause the host I was using got hacked n the database was wiped. But I setup a temporary place to store my stuff, but idk if I wana fix my site.. 40k photos nuked.. lol. But yea I have a free 3GB place for now... I miss my unlimited storage...
 
Oh I just wanted to give a heads up, I will be flying to Washington on the 13th till the 21st.(14th-20th is where I'll be struggling, 13th and the 21st Ill be able to rack up before I leave and get back to full force on the 21st) Which means my folding will be decreased.. But! I will still be folding. Just not with my main rig. I'll be using my 2nd rig that I've built over there(http://www.modsrigs.com/detail.aspx?BuildID=28580). Its just its a shared computer there so my folding will be low and sporadic but I should be able to keep my original commitment that I listed for registration hopefully.
 
ps. sorry my modrigs pictures are out of date for that rig lols, pics were taken when It didn't have a cpu chip yet. And I forgot to take pics when I finished it. Anyone with experience OC'ing the i7-960? I couldn't figure it out the brief time I was looking in the bios. Just a fair normal overclock that should work right off the bat so I have a base line to tune from there, like 3.7 @ 1.3v?
And oh yea, if anyone lives in the seattle area and would let me borrow a 560  so It can be a dedicated folding card here and will be returned before I leave lol.

Ugh feel like im slackin lols. I spent the whole morning upgrading my case fans. Had a problem with one. Think its a faulty mobo fan slot. I tested it on another slot and the fan works so I used the converter to run off the PSU instead. The thing was, I'd see the fan kick for a second everytime I powered up.. Not sure if my mobo is like maxed out or whatever lols or a bad port. Owell, I'm up n running again Time for lunch.
