The points gap is shrinking If any one has anything left lets use it. As Punchy stated in an earlier post those guys are able to produce a large amount of points in a very short amount of time.

Yeah, been getting a little nervous watching our lead slipping. I've been running everything I have running stable, no crashes etc. The smp types changed a couple of days ago and my total wu's for each day went down a lot. I expect most everyone was effected also. Been having a blast with this contest. I say lets win this thing!

My 560 rig is not working with me, last two days i have been battling it. Not sure whats broke but even at default everything it crashes, not just folding but with just being on. I lost internet for a while also so i was stuck with some finished wu's and no way to get new ones. Im trying to get all back up and running again. Sorry i fell short these last couple days. Production plummeted...sigh.

A few days back I made a great "wave" that kind of pushed me past 415Krunch. Since then, my wave has grown a little but better is, it has an ETA < expiration of this contest FOLD ON!

I had self-induced problems with both rigs yesterday, but they are back up and running now. On one naked system I was moving the power supply over a little to have better exit airflow, and the stupid power cord was just loose enough to cause a glitch that shut down the system. I took that occasion to swap memory, thinking the faster system could run even faster, and that caused 2 more issues. On the faster system, I disconnected the network when restarting the bigadv, so if there was a failure, I could restart from the backup; then I forgot to reconnect the network so it sat for 6 hours with a completed bigadv. At the same time, the Opteron system became unstable with the new memory, so I had to swap in another set.

Ouch! That explains why they are now catching up to us pretty fast.. Once 1600 point lead is now only 1200...

I had a similar problem last week I woke up to a black screen in the morning I tried every thing I could think of but it kept crashing after each restart I finally did a fresh install of my OS and that fixed the problem.
