I have a lot of Power Armor 'parked' in Sanctuary and yesterday I noticed that the freeloading settler buzzards have been stealing the helmets. They're not wearing them so where are my Power Armor helmets going???

Some weird things you can do in Fallout 4 that I didn't know about until yesterday.

Interesting information in the video. I posted number 7 here a while back. That particular find works great around the beginning of Fallout where the required points to level are lower.

I ran into that guy selling the dogs a couple of times. If it is anything like Dog Meat it will be dead the first time I engage the enemy, or get in my way. I've been tempted to get a rifle with a bayonet attached and use it to tickle Dog Meat. Grrrr.

I hate those Mirelurk Hunters. They are super hard to kill. Takes a lot of whatever ammo you are using to kill it and they are extremely fast. Their "spittin" juice has range too.

When you mentioned missing Power Helmets, are you by chance (for some reason) using the other Power Armor to repair your current armor? I know that when the Power Armor peices get destroyed it disappears from the unit and ends up in your inventory so you can repair it at a station.

I found a 'double shot Gauss rifle' in the Glowing Sea yesterday when it was dropped by a Legendary Rad-Scorpion. Damage is 436 and doubles if I am crouched. Awesome for sniping at a distance but a genuine PITA from a hip-firing position. Lots of weird things and places in the Glowing Sea. I got two or three TDR 117 lockups last night that needed a hard-restart. The last TDR just closed Fallout 4 to Desktop. IDK if it's my video boards or the last patch.

Disabling SLI solved the problem. I found other posts from other players and support forums having the same problem.
Someone is stripping my Power Armor. I have two suits missing the helmet and now one suit is missing a right arm and a right leg too. The 'peasants' don't seem to be bothering the armor parked in a power station. I might have to put my foot down and scrap all of their beds to build some Power Armor stations. That'll let them know who's the boss around Sanctuary. Let's see how they like sleeping in the dirt for a few days. LOL

Are you taking the fusion cores out of your power suits when you leave them behind at the settlements? Otherwise your settlers will use them.

It might be that they're using them and wearing down the power armor pieces enough that they no longer show because of low durability. Double check the suit and the pieces are probably still on it. They just need to be repaired.

Nah, those pieces are missing. What now? I gotta go around and frisk everybody to see if they damaged my Power Armor and unequipped the arms and legs like Cait/Fiona does? None of the armor parked in their stations are touched. Only the suits standing alone in the street and side yards are being scavenged. IDK why they need to start scrapping my armor. I have plenty of junk they can recycle in the weapons and work stations. I think they're just feeding their Psycho habits. LOL

It would appear that I too am missing a couple of Power Armor Heads. So I think I shall move them to my house at Diamond City and store them inside. Damn thieves. Where's the cops when you need one? LOL

I think they're scrapping them which is really rude and inconsiderate because I have loads of steel, aluminum, and other raw materials in the Workshop. Use the console command 'player.additem 00154ABF 1' to get another X-01 helmet. Where in Diamond City did you find a residence to live in? I might have to relocate just to get away from them sticky-fingered Sanctuary dwellers.

No more freezing since I disabled SLI. With a frame cap of 72 my gameplay is smooth and a second video board in SLI is unnecessary for me.

When you go through the main gate you will see a set of stairs that will lead you to the Mayor's office. Talk to the Sec. as she is the one that will do the transaction. The place for sale is next to the General Merchant's place of business. I forget what the price was. I think it may have been 2000 caps.

As of right now, I am not able to tie the work bench inside the place with other work benches outside the city.

Does he give you free drinks? I seen videos where if you drink a lot your speech gets slurred. If he'll give me free drinks I might take him back. Every now and then I hijack a Protectron and he'll follow me around for a while. One of those Protectrons followed me back to Sanctuary without me knowing it and after I returned from a rescue mission he had collapsed from exhaustion or whatever Protectrons do when they don't sleep. I just hacked him again and had him patrol the area. Not bad for an extra companion when you need one. Cait/Fiona keeps killing my Power Armor. I don't want to hurt her feelings but I'm about to travel with Dogmeat again. I'm worried that the little wench might sneak up on me when I'm sleeping and club me senseless for dumping her for Dogmeat. LOL

Nobody has touched the Power Armor in the Repair Stations yet. Thanks for the heads up on that. Maybe I'll have to set up some of those Tesla Coils to deter those settler vagrants. LOL
I'd like to drag some of those terminal locked cages where Power Armor is usually found back to Sanctuary. If there's a way to build one I haven't figured it out yet.

Despite the issues people are still having with this game I may end up getting it once it goes on sale. 60 bucks is too much for me though. Now that I got my new pc I seriously want to give Fallout 4 a spin.

Get it, you won't regret it. I haven't had a single issue yet, the only minor issue was when the game first came out and there was no official SLI profile. Even then the game ran fine and now there is an SLI profile. Get it and prepare for hours and hours of Fallout goodness.

Eh I find any game that's 50 bucks or more is not worth the cost. Took me a long time just to save enough money for the new pc. Typically 40 bucks or less is more my comfort zone for buying games. I'll just wait it out till Amazon or Steam has a really good deal on Fallout 4 and the overly expensive season pass.

Here's a tip/cheat that I accidently (actually Dog Meat) ran across. Essentially it will give you an unlimited amount of select supplies.

In the settlement of Jamaica Plain there is a quest called "search for the treasure" or something like that. When in a room that has a long hallway it will have laser sensors and minor defense modules that pack a punch. Take out the defense modules, then go to the other end of the hallway and hit the button on the wall. By doing this it will start the laser sensors again. Disable them then repeat the button pressing again and it will start the lasers again. If you have a companion with you leave them in another room and make them stay there. I went through three times and got a lot of steel and I believe fiber optics. It's the standard reward for disabling a laser sensor but it keeps giving.

Fallout 4 ran like complete crap on my PC before installing texture/shadow mods. Not to mention glitches galore but that's like every Bethesda game. I never had a single issue with Skyrim (vanilla).

I have to look into that. I haven't done a whole lot of building yet other than beds, turrets, recruitment beacons, food and water for my settlements. I just found the list of settlements in my Pip-boy's Data tab. When I'm not on some kind of rescue mission for a bunch of helpless blundering boobs I look at my settlements data and try and do some upgrades just to make them happy. I gotta say, a General's work is never done!

You are not the general, its Preston. Might as well give him the generals hat and uniform.
The true general of the minutemen...

If I give the general's hat and uniform to Preston will he be the one who has to run around rescuing settlers instead of me or is that just my niche in life at Sanctuary? LOL
It might be cool watching him run around like a chicken with its head cut off for a change.
