Intel Core i5-2300 2.8 GHz/AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz or equivalent
8 GB RAM
30 GB free HDD space
NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or equivalent
 

Recommended

Intel Core i7 4790 3.6 GHz/AMD FX-9590 4.7 GHz or equivalent

Woot! 64-bit OS only! CPU recommendation seems pretty high though.

    I hope it has good SLI scaling, but this does look very promising.

    My guess as to why the recommended specs are so high, is they are taking into account people running 4k monitors or possibly surround system and wanting to maintain a solid framerate.

    Makes me wonder, have they actually shown Fallout 4 footage with all these graphical updates running on the PC or has it all been on XB1(or some console) this whole time?

    The only time I am sure they have shown PC footage is in cinamatic teasers, during any live gameplay/conference/E3 its been xbox one. I am pretty hyped personally. all new assets, from the ground up.
