Okay now i have flashed one of the 1070 FTW bios, startede on the "slave" bios since that have been the bios i have used to play around with the OC of the card.
But since did the flash of the slave bios, it wont boot when i try on the master bios.
The only thing that is happening is a black screen, no light in any of my chroma gear and on my MSI motherboard it comes up with either debug code 97 or code 99
that are "Console output/input devices/console initialization and load option rom (vga, raid, parallel ports, serial ports....)
So maybe it was an bad idea to start flashing the slave first, or that can it be that do this ?
When i switch back to the slave, from the "failed" master it boots up like nothing have gone wrong anywhere

When I flashed my master bios the first time the computer wouldn't restart after the flash and I had to hard reset my PC.   Then it started loading up with a totally black screen when I was on my master bios.   I switched over to the slave and then I could load into windows.   And when I went back to master after shutting down the PC it was back on the old bios.

I tried flashing the master again in windows and in safe mode but each time I do it I get black screen behavior when I start up or restart my PC.    But the Flash did take this time on my master.

The bios number changed to the new bios on the master but I keep getting black screens.

This bios flash update reminds me when I was playing Deus Ex Human Revolution there was an option to upgrade a bio chip in the brain and if you did your augments would start glitching out and made it much more diffcult to play. I didn't trust doing that in the game and same for this "fix" bios flash option for my 1070 FTW. I just keep my fans on 100% untill I get the thermal pads in. But yeah I'm sorry to all of you who got shafted because of the bios flash.

Yea it really suck balls  that the "fix" just made a new problem, and a really bad one.
But at this point im glad that the card have dual bios, if not my card would have been totally fried

Yeah having that dual bios is one of the best features of these cards. With all the heating and other problems atleast they gave 2 bios in case one gets corrupted. I have my 1070 FTW on slave but I don't OC it. Having my CPU OC'd already boosts it enough. I want the thermal pads to come in, it's been 2 weeks since I've sent in a request and yesterday it finally updated to "awaiting shipment" I hope it doesn't take 2 weeks more longer to arrive but atleast they sending them out free.

Yea in this case the 2nd bios come handy, but it shouldnt have to be used just because of the master bios dont give a crap becasuse it didnt get to be the first that got the flash
I really hope that they come up with something fast, so my card will work like it did before the flash.
Now i just sits here and wonder why i didnt go with the brands that im normally go with when i build a pc, and why i wanted to give other brands a chance both with the GPU and also with the MB.
Really the only thing that im looking forward to now, is to get my powerlink for the GPU.

Well to be honest im a little afraid to flash any of the bios on that card, since it was the master bios that got messed up when i flashed the slave
so if this breaks the slave and dont fix the master, then i will have one expensive paperweight
