Perhaps what should occur is that when things are given away for free it should be a random drawing thereby benefiting everyone as they all have an equal chance of winning

It should be however the person giving it away wants it to be. Not a single person in this forum or planet is entitled to what someone freely gives of his or her own accord. That is said persons property, no one but said person has any say over it. No one should have to or be forced to do things someone elses way just to please the others...

All those people just want a fair chance to win. If the OP just wants to give it to a certain individual, then no contest thread is really needed. Just do it by PM. It's not nice to toy with the members like that. I'm sure I'm probably speaking for about 98% of the members here.

No one deserves a chance to win...They want a chance they should be in here and be faster. Sounds like entitlement issues to me. And OP didn't say hey gomez you want a game? And if your speaking for 98% of them, they all need to get their heads out of the entitled clouds.

I agree with Xray, for the first time, we used to have argues in the past but he is right now...
 i am not an english native speaker so i apollogize for my bad english but how do u call a fake giveaway? maybe a scam ? what goal for the scammer? nothing just to play with ppl mind? or maybe he needs to visit a doctor ...and when he is found out he need to make a new account ...
 
Chrome-M-Dragon if u are right about what u say "No one deserves a chance to win" then maybe the mods should remove the giveaway section from the forum...right?  But i wont agree with you on this matter cause i got some nice stuff till now from this forum and also gaved back a few steam codes. And because of this i wanna thank the EVGA staff for this oportunity they gaved to this comunity.
 
Also Chrome-M-Dragon i hope ur company doesnt lose many sales from this giveaways... they are not so many....
 
p.s. Not everybody has his feet on the ground like u Chrome,  maybe some ppl dont have time to stay on this forum 24/24 .... And from the 98% of us that we have our heads in the clouds i send u peace :) cause u need it....
