I just finished installing and got it up and running. All seems fine but just a min ago..in the tracker log it is giving me this error :"Error reading FAHlog.txt for client GPU0" From what I can tell, it is still running the WU on GPU0, as the % is going up in the Tracker. Is this normal, or is something wrong? Also, how do I verify my username and team are properly configured for the CPU SMP? I can view the GPU config and it shows the correct username, team # and passkey, but I can't locate anything to confirm the info for the SMP client. BTW, my cpu temps are kinda makin me think I should just bag the SMP bigadv. I'm seeing mid to high 80s and seeing low 90s here and there. i7 875k @ 4.1ghz ****EDIT****Dang, I JUST noticed at the very bottom of the tracker...name, team and PPD. All defaults....Anonymous, team 0 and PPD only 6752. Thinkin I got something off here. Any suggestions to get me back on track? I originally setup my config with the CMD prompt and I thought it was working..but decided to try your Tracker out. I'm sure I just got something wrong with the setup as it seems to be running the way it should.

Hi After finishing CC I removed tracker and started fresh, using my own name eoc id and passkey, I'm running my cpu and both gpu's as in my sig Well the CPU is folding correctly under my name as is the GTX 285, but the GTX 570 is still not folding under my name !!!!!! See this extract Launch directory: G:\back up of C\Downloads\FAH GPU Tracker V2\GPU0 Executable: G:\back up of C\Downloads\FAH GPU Tracker V2\FAH_GPU3.exe Arguments: -oneunit -forcegpu nvidia_fermi [09:20:14] - Ask before connecting: No [09:20:14] - User ID: 2A79F36B72315EC8 [09:20:14] - Machine ID: 1 GPU Tracked shows my user name team and forcasts the ppd correctly but why is this one gpu still not folding for me correctly? I have Stopped and restarted gpu tracker 4 times now Checked and double checked that the pass key user name and eoc id is correct, each time clicking on the Apply button to ensure its updated. The GPU has completed 34 WU and not one point has gone on to my points total due to this does any one have any idea as to what I need to do to sort it out? P.S. This is from the smp on my cpu - remember it on the same and only instance of tracker :( 09:38:08] - Ask before connecting: No [09:38:08] - User name: johnerz (Team 111065) [09:38:08] - User ID: 2A79F36B72315EC8 [09:38:08] - Machine ID: 2 Latest update: ITs Still folding For the default team getting a bit fed up tbo

I have noticed in the past few weeks that the Tracker is becoming more and more unstable. I did the same thing you did and had no problems with things switching back over. Everything was folding fine untill I wake up one morning and check the status of my folding. I notice that both of my GPUs are sitting at 100% and my CPU is at 30%. After a few minutes I notice that the GPUs have been hanging at 100% for about 12 hours. I investigate the cause and notice that it is not uploading the WU information to the server properly. I stop and restart the clients. This seemed to work as it showed successful upload and the Tracker is showing the PPD for the units I just completed. I then check EOC later and realize it just dumped the two completed WUs. At the same time I notice the CPU is still stuck at 30%. I am not sure as to what the problem is. I don't think it has anything to do with clock speeds since I had to go back to stock clocks after abnormally low PPD. This is starting to become too much of a hassle to fold right now. I will be taking a vacation from folding untill I can figure out the cause of the problems I am having.

big_willie So is there ever gonna be a new version of Tracker? Since the V6 clients will be phased out the current version of the Tracker will only be updated as needed to fix bugs or support revisions to the V6 clients. At the moment I am not sure if I want to spend the time to rewrite the Tracker to support V7. It also depends on if there is a need for it since V7 is much easier to use compared to V6. mistermister cmartin2413 I have noticed in the past few weeks that the Tracker is becoming more and more unstable. I will basically get errors messages stating that "an error has occurred with the F@H Tracker" Then it gives me an option to close the program out now or wait. I get this error quite often.

This part pretty much explains it: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: FahCore_a5.exe This is the FahCore crashing, so there is absolutely nothing I can do about that. This issue is with the FAH client itself.

To get the best output, I would use stanford's V7 beta, and set it for the "advanced" client-type. You will at least double your output.

This fits my problem to a T. I have uninstalled and reinstalled at least 15 times. I have it running on two other machines. One does the exact same thing, the other is running completely how it should maximized. I do not like not being able to tell if my WU have been completed or how far they have to go. My log says nothing except "starting gpu0, etc..." no errors or anything and this problem has been plaguing me for a week after having it up and running for a month with no issue. HELP!
