    try clearing the CMOS

if it still happens it could be your hard drive, if that fails, i'm sorry but you may have to RMA.

F3 is a problem with the first memory bank, f6 the second, problem could also be with CPU, or cooler tightness, as your IMC intagrated memory controller is inside your CPU, check your memory, and sockets they are in, your CPU, and your cooler instalation,

Tried everything that was suggested but nothing is working. Once it kept turning on and then off and then on and then off by itself every 2 seconds.

How do I RMA? Ive never done RMA before. I purchased this motherboard from Newegg and it arrived to my house today.

If the board is less than 30 days old; you would be better served with a vendor exchange, as a RMA is a recertified product, and a exchange is new, But test your memory first one stick at a time in slot one the red
slot, because if it's not the board then neither a rma or an exchange will solve the problem. Call new Egg, I have seen them send pre paid return address lables when requested, ( save you a little shipping ) you can of course call evge if you wish 888-881-EVGA, but I would call new Egg first. make sure your using the slots in the pic below, and that your CPU is making good contact and that your cooler is not to tight, since you IMC is inside your CPU, a bad cpu connection can look just like a failed memory chip, or a bad slot.  I assume you tried unpluging you PSU, and removing the battery for about 10 min. then reinstalling it. And that you are sure your stand off's are correct. )

I tried all different RAM slot configurations. I have G.Skill 1600 dual channel kit ram. I inititally used slots 1 and 3 as my very first boot but it gave me F6 error code. I even tried one RAM at a time in different slot configurations but no luck.

Sometimes the motherboard will just turn on and then off and then on and then off every 2 seconds and it keeps repeating this cycle until I shut off the PSU. I made sure the CPU cooler had good contact with the board.

However, one time today, I was actutally able to boot into Windows just once.

    My specs are:

    CPU: i7 930
    Cooler: Corsair H50
    RAM: G.Skill 2x2GB 1600
    Video: EVGA gtx480 SC+
    PSU: Corsair TX750
    HDD: WD Caviar Black 750GB

It's not uncommon for a "double pump " turn off and restart, espicaly the first time you post, or if virtual mechine is enabled, but it Should NOT loop, if clearing CMOS, does not resolve your issue, and it still happens removed from the case, and assembled on cardboard, or other non conductive surfice, and insuring that both your memory and cpu are making good contact, and not warpping,  then your looking at a RMA or Vendor Exchange . make sure when you test out of the case, that you use the stock cooler, and not a after market, as this eliminates one more possable cause, and make sure all four cooler pins are inserted fully, as temp will cause a shutdown as well, if the cooler is loose.

Alright I put everything on cardboard using stock cooler and now the board gives the POST beep and seems to be working perfectly.

You are extremely helpful mate. I think the problem was, I attached industrial strength velcro on the outside of my metallic computer case. This might have been the reason the motherboard was acting funny. Not only this, but my old previous motherboard stopped working shortly after I attached the velcro.

So I guess the velcro was causing all these problems?

Unless the velcro was causing a ground, or preventing a contact, I would not expect it to cause what you were seeing, Make sure you look at your standoff's, or anything that could contact the back of the MB before putting it back in the case, also look at any back plates, or cooler frames, this sounds like a short to ground issue. Glad you seem to be up, and have an idea of where to look

Yes now I have a much better idea. Thank you so much mate! I cleaned off my entire case and placed the motherboard back in there and put everything in as well just to test, and everything seems to be running fine now without the velcro.

Once again, thank you very much. You saved me from having to go through RMA. CHEERS!!

Alright now I have a new problem...

The board displays FF, then resets itself. Keeps doing this over and over

FF after the post code is Fully functional, the board will display that if the temp display function is off in the bios, but if it gores strait to FF it's a problem, There are several causes, but it indicates that the CPU is unable to step through the BIOS instructions correctly. There is a EVGA video about it.

Check the Power connection next to the CPU, Once agian check your standoff's, If the CPU is not making good contect, this can happen, do not remove your BIOS chip, if the clam shell is closed, it is seated properly, What is strange is thet both issues you are haveing can be caused by a ground issue to case, or a CPU not making good conection, look in your socket, for any bent pins, if it continues, once agin remove your board from the case, if it works out of the case Check all your stand offs, or anything that can be shorting the MB, or cpu to case.

I have found the source of the problem. It was the reset switch. I removed the standoffs and it was still showing error codes. For some reason, when the reset switch is plugged into the motherboard, it shows all sorts of errors. But on the bright side, everything is now fully functional!

I have finished assembling the PC and now no problems whatsoever!

Thanks so much for all the help and support mate!

Lol haha yes! no need for reset button. I have used that button maybe 3 times in the past year. If I need a hard reset, I can just use the PSU switch. Loving this motherboard!!
