Extended waranty not transfered after STEP-UP

Hi,
Yesterday I have successfully completed my Step-UP from GTX 780 ti to GTX 980.
 
To my surprise the extended warranty did not transfer to new product.
I have read in Step-UP that extended warranty should transfer to new product.
 
I have raised and ticked but so far no info from EVGA.
