I personally inspected the board this morning. Both CPU sockets actually have damaged pins. The first one maybe not enough to cause you issues but there are definite pressure points of what appears to be left by a finger or similar sized object pressing down onto the bed of pins. The first CPU socket has one area like this and the second socket has two larger areas like this likely creating the issues you reported. The PCB of the board is indeed scratched through to the copper in a few different places, and there are also damaged and missing resistors on the back of the board. Unfortunately, even if other items may be repairable, damage to the PCB is not and the product's warranty would be void.

I don't get this. If it worked fine before, then it should have been fine. Either it was damaged during shipping (what was the condition of the pakaging when it arrived and how well was it packed, also was the CPU sockets covered?) Take it up with the company that shipped it. But if you seriously did not see any bent pins then something is going on at the other end of things. Somewhere, someone is not being honest.

firts, you said that my mdb arrived with bend cpu pins (false before shipment)
second, you can accept my rma because of phisical damage
third, no warranty anymore!!!
NOW, I WANT JUSTICE!!!
ups just delivered yesterday my package, i use sr2 for my job, and i thinked that 4 ram slot could not be a problem because "the rest is functioning"..!
I don't want to know if you ve done something, or shipment got trouble, my mdb was correcly functioning before rma, and warranty or not is like that, that i want it back!!!

p.s just notice that not only mdb goes on fire, also one of mine e5504 broken up!!!!

ram slot doesn't work anymore, but the rest was fine...

Call the toll free support line doing a RMA this way is insane and not the fastest method,your only driving yourself crazy doing it via forums posts .

OP keeps using the board with bad PCb lanes and damaged CPU sockets with damaged resistors and missing ones is begging for a fire ,its no surprise if he turned it on once and it happened

i ve got noting at all, only black screens...i ve tried several Time to' power on my sistem, but nothing at all! So i ve just tried the tipically things that eversione does in this case, i ve tried each of my RAM dimms into the first slot of both processors to' see if the problem comes from them but nothing (Kingston hyperX t1 2000mhz c9, work flawlessly into my other pc), i ve tried the vga (MSI hawk talon attack gtx 460) in each of 7 pci express slots (and into my other pc too), but nothing still appear...so as i read on the manual, i ve tried to' use only one cpu, and both of them works but only into the primary cpu socket..!!! In i try to' connect both into both sockets i ve got black screen! So the problem come from the secondary cpu socket (and dimms too as i ve seen)...

Most likely the broken and missing resistors and bent cpu pins (not saying whose fault this is just saying it was used in that condition),you trying to run a board that you were clearly told was not usable is your own fault .Your lucky you didn't cause a bigger fire .

Your right the damaged and missing resistors on the BACK of the motherboard had nothing to do with it .

i am not saying otherwise, the fact is that i ve only turned on my sistem after reciving package and everything goes on fire...
 
what i would like to know is WHY??????!!!???!??!

If a mobo is damaged beyond repair why on earth would you turn it on and risk damaging other hardware ?
"Damaged" and "missing" resistors can cause fires (they are there for reasons ).You were TOLD they were missing and or damaged but you tried to run the mobo anyways .......its no surprise it caught fire ,its more a surprise you didn't cause a major fire and someone was hurt seriously  .

You sent the mobo in for RMA because it was partially working correct? ?The reasons it was partially working were in part damaged and MISSING resistors on the BACK of the mobo .Running a mobo with that type of damage causes issues small at the start and bigger as you continue to push a system that is electrically UNSTABLE . Thus a FIRE .Functioning and partially functioning are very far apart in meaning . your mobo was dying slowly you pushed it one time to many and the result was a electrical caused fire .

So my question is, what i have to do to' rma my mdb again??? If i enter into rma section from evga site, i can only see my last rma, to' start another rma the site asks to' me another serial...where i can fin it?? It s on the mdb (on the white ticket), and i have to upload the invoce again or the order one still goes fine???

Please help me, i am a grapher and i can waste anytime :( last time i had a really good esperience with your rma service, i hope that i can have it again!!

What part of this statement by YOU are you saying is incorrect ? If your not read on .
Mobo only worked with one CPU: you wanted to RMA the board . Is this true or not ?>
Did the thought damaged and MISSING resistors on the back of the mobo could cause a short and cause issues with a variety of the mobo's subsystems  from use over a period of time ?
And after repeated strain on the electrical system cause a fire ?
Im only making sense of the situation as presented by YOU and the EVGA tech
 
Go outside and cross a few wires in your cars electrical system and see how long before it catches fire ......if you doubt its a possible explanation
