Hi guys!
 
I recently saw jayztwocents aplly ek grease all over the gpu ahah what happend if we do the same with the evga grease?
the Thermal Grease   has a silver Content over 30% is a conductive grease? what happed if the grease tocuh the motherboard or a gpu pcb? dead??

    If anyone doesn't know how to properly apply thermal compound then just don't do it. Seek out a professional to assist you.

    An electrically conductive thermal paste will usually fry any capacitive components or connections it touches. So yes, it wouldn't fare well for it to get on the motherboard.

    Doesn't surprise me to hear about youtube reviewer doing that, they don't care if it messes up anything, they received the hardware for free.

    To answer your question OCTY, yes.  That is why we take care to only get the thermal grease only where it needs to be.  HOWEVER...There are some pastes like Arctic silver Ceramique that do not use a conductive material and are far safer.  I have been using Ceramique for close to a decade with zero adverse effects.  And once upon a time, getting it all over the place.
