windows 10 could have updated it for you. it happened to me fresh install of windows 10 tried to install windows mei drivers from evga page and got a warning that there were updated drivers already installed go here install this tool http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html this will tell you if you have the latest intel drivers installed.

Unfortunately, intel dropped Windows 10 support for older chipsets, 5,6,7 series in the newer chipset drivers. That is why they do not install our device id's are not included into the infs. With the exception of the included sata driver, chipset infs aren't really drivers at all just inf files so when you access the device manager it properly lists the device name so you can identify it. They aren't needed and in my opinion have been over hyped for years. Only motherboard drivers you should be concerned about (outside audio and lan) are AHCI or RAID as they can have a large impact on SSD performance in contrast to built in windows 10 drivers. Check out this site, it helped me find a decent driver. http://www.win-raid.com/t...AHCI-RAID-drivers.html
