I just recently bought this card:
The factory clocks are suppose to be 1304 MHz Base Clock/1367 MHz Boost Clock.  But mine (at stock) are shown as 1480MHz in both Evga Precision and GPU-Z.  Can anyone explain why this is?
Temps are fine.  I have been running game benchmarks and stress programs on both it and my OC'ed CPU for the last 2 days, and the card's temps never exceed low 70Cs.  I have attached a screenshot for verification.

Looks like you got a good gpu and it is boosting really well. The boost clock on our specifications is a minimum value. Often times, depending on your temperatures, available power, and other factors, your card can boost higher than that. This is normal and will not cause any harm to your card.

Well, if that's the case, I'm glad I only pulled the trigger on the SuperClocked version of it...  I almost thought about going with the FTW version of it, but since the SC was only $3 more than the base clocked version of it on Newegg, that seemed like the better deal.

    Hey, thanks, DarrelM...
You mean Evga's specs are that far off?  To the benefit of the user, I might add...
I wonder if I can even OC the card if it is already at 1480 MHz?  If the mild temps at 1480MHz (under load) is any indication, I should have lots of headroom.

Is your SSC higher than normal specs too?

Nvidia developed gpu boost 2.0. It overclocking your card as far as it can at stock settings. EVGA made the clocks to be 1304/1367 and Nvidia technology decided it could go further.

Basically, you got a good card, but at times, under certain loads, it will only go to 1367 maximum. EVGA specs are correct. If you attempted to change the bios to always run at 1460+, your card probably wouldn't want to work.

Thanks Scarlet-Tech.  I'll have to check that out.  So far, I've never seen it run less than 1480 MHz.
Does that mean OC'ing the card myself is not recommended?  Obviously Evga will say not to.

Pppssshhhh, overclocking it! You can probably get to 1550 no problem. EVGA isn't going great to tell you not to. They are probably interested in seeing the results as well, lol. Give it a go.

Of all the cards I have my FTW is the easiest to get a stable clock without worry about anything! nice to get a free ride at times,

This produces a max boost at 1567 mhz, yes could push it way further and start fiddling with the power..... but why? it is already in lights with Futuremark

Of interest! start changing memory offset and performance drops
