I split these posts away from the other A2 error thread, since it's better to start your own thread, even if it's the same issue.

You won't be able to post links or images until your 11th post here, as our forum uses that as a spam protection measure for all new members.  You can try to split up the link to a video so the forum will not pick it up, but please first make sure there is no swearing or offensive content in the video.

Have you tried clearing the BIOS?  What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

Have you replaced the MB battery?  We found that this fixed the other issue in the other thread.  Very rarely the batteries would be bad.  I've changed mine once and it fixed my errors.

Thanks man, just read the topic. Took the tester and measured the voltage of 3.02 V. I'm going to buy new, but I think that's not the point.

If you're saying once you started playing around with the RAM, I would check and see if all the MB ram slots and sticks are good and run some memtests.

Try clearing CMOS and start everything at stock and start from there.  Go a few days and see what happens.

HI, sorry to hear you having issues man I know the feeling...

    A2 ide detect....could be:

Which means the MB has difficulty reading one of your drives can you go into bios? And set whatever drive which has the OS on it as first boot you did mention you had no OS maybe that's why A2 error, granted only if you can enter the bios....

Did you flashed the bios to its latest release ie bios version 2.01??
Since broadwell-e cpu's as the one you have might not be recognised with an older bios version with your motherboard in that case I suggest asking Evga to send you a bios chip with the latest bios version.

A2 could also mean cpu fan header is acting up check if it's seated and into the correct cpu fan header on the MB...

Maybe there is dust or a piece of hair in your pci slots or ram slots make sure they are clean ie can of air...

I really hope you solve this if not call Evga Germany they speak English and are happy to help just like they did with me.

Thank you all guys! I Dumberer !!! =)))) It's just a laugh. He checked the monitor and ... was included HDMI mode is switched on ... DVI-DL and saw the BIOS ... cmos checksum error. After many attempts, I got into the BIOS. The error is not passed, but has already established Win10. All ok, thx EVGA!

Good to hear you solved it!

Not to be harsh but if you don't mind could you explain what you did exactly I had a hard time follow what you said about hdmi and dvi. So you also had a checksum error and A2 do you still have them or are they gone now? Reason I'm asking is for future reference for people who might have similar issues as you did. Oh and have fun with your brand new system!

I think he meant that the monitor had auto-defaulted to the wrong input, and after switching to the correct input he saw the BIOS boot screen where it tells you to press F1 to continue or DEL (F12?) to enter setup and was able to get it going from there.  That's another one of those things that gets the best of us, if that's what happened.

I had this same issue last night setting up my FTWK.  Hangup during post with A2.  I removed all unnecessary sata cables, and it booted up just fine.  I replaced those with new cables and everything was OK after.
