Hi eveyone, first post so be nice.
I bought a 1070 card a few months ago and has worked great untill yesterday.
I was playing wow legion when my screen went all black with the sound from The game still playing in The background.
Also, The fans maxed out and The only option was to do a hard reset.
When i got back into desktop and started The game again, i was getting low fps and performance in general.
Any ideas in what happened?
All drivers are The latest
Temps are fine, 40c at 50% load on gpu and 25 on cpu
Specs:
I7 6700k no oc
1070 sc stock
8gb corsair ram
Ssd as primary
Hdd as storage

Which version of Windows are you on? Before going any further, go through this thread: http://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2504606 Also verify that all of your power connectors are in firmly, especially the one to the video card.

I got windows 10 I've tried most of them if not all and nothing :/ Also tried re-seating The card and change/try some of The other cables. And since it only has happened once i fear that i will take some time to rule out most things to get a solution

But you are still getting poor frame rates? And is that only in WoW that you have taken a performance hit?

Still getting poor fps. Played cs go and wow. Both with same settings as i've been playing on before. Tried lowering the settings and then setting them back manually to the original settings with no luck.
Cs go wasnt even playable, well under 30 fps, same with wow but not as bad

I've been running "Heaven Benchmark" now for about an hour with full load on the card with no crashes or temps going higher than 60c.
Been stressing the cpu aswell to if that caused it but it also runs about 65-70c under full load. Im clueless to what is causing it.
One thing i noticed tho is that the benchmark displayed the 1070 as a 4gb card, bug maybe ?
And in wow the card is at 50-60% load only , same with cs go

Heaven and Valley don't detect more than 4GB of VRAM, so what you're seeing there is normal.

The psu is a coolermaster g750m, maybe 1 year old

If you run unigine heaven 4.0 for 15 minutes at max settings does it cause the same issue?

Which graphics driver are you currently running? Have you tried any older graphics drivers to see if it helps fix the problem in wow legion?

Final results were at 7800 points, with a 6700k and the 1070..
Support told med that this was well below of what it should be and told me to RMA it.

Time measuring inaccurate:
This message indicates funny business with the system clock during benchmark run. Wow, yeah, your clocks are way off. Even your cpu clocks are off. Does your cpu clock up to its rated speed when gaming?

Damn.. its a new build. Havent touched anything on the cpu. I was just measuring the temps and load of The cpu and gpu.

What confuses me is the stock core clock 4000 MHz but max turbo 1202 MHz......
