Hello, I just purchased the gtx 970. I have had nothing but issues so far. Everything installed fine. Drivers up to date and everything. Every game I play no matter what the graphic settings eventually crashes. It seems to happen randomly. I can play Crysis for about 5-10 minutes, or Rome II (maybe a battle or two) or Diablo 3 a few minutes before they all crash. I have tweaked with settings for hours, rolled back drivers, no joy. I have copied and pasted one of the details from a crash with Crysis. If you need anymore info I will try my best to post it, like the mini dump data for example. Has anyone else had any issues like this? Like I said, every game no matter what the settings eventually crashes. My longest play was probably Rome II for about a half hour. I received the Blue Screen of death only once. Other than that it only crashes to the desktop. My previous card was an MSI 6950, no issues with it.

Try using CCleaner for cleaning the registry?

going to suggest the "kill precision X 16 if you have it installed" advice.  Use MSI afterburner or an older version of precision X (I'm using 4.2.1).  X 16 has issues.

If you have the CPU ODed you should add some voltage to the Vcore. If you do not have the CPU OCed and it is at stock frequency and voltage then you don't have to increase or reduce anything.
If you have your RAM OCed you will have to either add some voltage to it or reduce the frequency. If you do not have your RAM OCed and you are using JDEC standard or the XMP profile then you don't have to add or reduce anything.
Have you tried the 344.48 driver?

I see you previously had an AMD card in your system. Most likely there are AMD driver files and Registry entries left behind that are causing conflicts. Uninstalling the AMD drivers doesn't always clear everything out, so you may need to run a driver cleaner program. I would recommend Display Driver Uninstaller: http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/

Install it, reboot to Safe Mode and clean the AMD drivers with the "Clean and DO NOT restart" option, then the Nvidia drivers with the "Clean and restart" option. Reinstall the Nvidia drivers once you're back into normal Windows, and see if your games run any better.

Thanks for all the responses. I have just rma'd my card as per the representative I spoke with. When I get the new card, if i still have the same issues I will try to clean my registry again. I used cc cleaner but no joy. Also the 344.48 drivers...are those the newest ones? I only saw the 344.11 and the 344.16 available to download and I tried both.
