When I try and overclock some new Ripjaws X ram, I keep getting errors C5 and C0 on the debug device on the board.

Any idea what these mean, and how I can fix the issue?

EDIT: And when I pop my old Ripjaws ram back in, it works fine. I'm also able to boot @ stock spec's (6-8-6/1600) but once I overclock the ram, I get the error codes.

those error are related to CPU function which may be too low of Voltage on CPU - Vcore .
    C0          Secondary initialization of CPU
C5          Enumerate and set up application processors
From the P55 FTW .pdf manual on the EVGA support site.
If the new  mem still does not work... perhaps 1 of more of them are bad.

So more vcore, and not vtt?

You never said the details of your rig.  If you have 8GB or 4 stick of mem then the Vtt needs to be 1.2v or slightly higher.  The codes did not indicated this... but those errors may come after the Vcore change.
