Folks, please go over your numbers - CST thread indicates that there might be an issue with neoninja68's numbers.

We're still shy of enough total participants to engage the second BigAdv prize, so we need to get to recruiting, and those numbers could definitely change the lay of the contest, but I'm darned impressed by the turnout of my fellow EST folders!

im here for ya SBB. i have the 2600k running @ 4.6 atm(we may goto 5.0 if we have to) and the 580 running 900/2350(shes been known to run 1000/2400 in a pinch). also i have the 920 @ 3.8 and that monster 560ti sitting idle. and if things get really bad i have 680i with a 285ssc and 2 8800gtx's and 5 p4 hp laptops if the world is comming to an end. ill just put a computer in each room of the house to heat it for the winter. its in the 50s here now.

Based on the stats DutchForce pulled together, we'll be slugging it out for just over 15 days to reach the 30M point goal, so timing work units to drop at the start wouldn't effect the overall outcome.

TZC Rules

It is pretty clear....selection = type of work unit (i.e. i you want to fold smp rather than bigadv) whereas timing = stopping your clients. Strategic timing is not permitted. One of the main purposes of the contest is to get people folding more, and stopping your clients defeats that purpose. Its easy to tell by looking at your recent production history if you have done this...so simply don't do it. Lets make this contest fair and fun so that everyone can enjoy it.

UGGGGG! dead wu error [21:41:14] Completed 221163 out of 250000 steps (88%) [21:42:22] Gromacs cannot continue further. i blame kram36. this happened right after i rebooted to turn my ram up to 1866.
