Other teams threads: Pacific: PST Domination Thread Mountain: MST Team Thread Central: CST Team Thread Note: PST = Pacific Standard Time MST = Mountain Standard Time CST = Central Standard Time and we currently in Daylight Saving Time (abbreviated PDT/MDT/CDT) until November 9th. Clearly, Eastern is the only team planning to finish the 30 million points before daylight saving ends November 9th.

you can't pause WU's to spring them at the beginning that's a blatant violation (so don't do it) read the rules You may not pause, stop or otherwise disrupt your normal flow of work units to gain an advantage. Based on the stats DutchForce pulled together, we'll be slugging it out for just over 15 days to reach the 30M point goal, so timing work units to drop at the start wouldn't effect the overall outcome.
HOWEVER, it IS spelled out in the rules NOT to do it, so DON'T do it.
On the other hand, folks, this is looking GOOD for CST to finally lose out on the TZC! We're still shy of enough total participants to engage the second BigAdv prize, so we need to get to recruiting, and those numbers could definitely change the lay of the contest, but I'm darned impressed by the turnout of my fellow EST folders!
Pretty Pimp if you ask me...
