Oh, I also had to reset my bios so my ram is probably all messed up again. And i don't remember what i had it at....*sigh*

Seems to be a -bigadv shortage for real. Got a regular SMP unit this AM. Lots of folks complaining throughout all the threads in multiple forums.

Finally back on track today. Lost my dual 9800GTX+ box to a network issue for half the day yesterday (my fault leaving unplugged trying to solve network issues). On top of that my 2600K pulled a massive 20k+ credit WU and just finished after a day and a half (thx to some BF3 thrown in there).

I'm so sorry guys but I sold my i7-920 to killerjas, trying to help him out & now I have to wait till my new i7-950 comes in so I'm down to my 2nd rig that pulling a 10,000 PPD got a 260 & i5-655k going in it!

I mite put my 470's in my 2nd rig cause my i7-950 will not be here till Monday!

I've dropped a 570 due to issues with it not folding at a constant or steady rate. going from anywhere between 14kppd down to 100ppd....

I heard it was supposed to be 14 days. You must be using the advanced version stress test.

Just remember, with an SR-2 there are 2 CPUs, so you have to double the testing time. Have fun waiting 28 days to use your new rig.

Ouch wasnt home last night and just logged into my main rig to see the gpus at 90c ... So my gpus will be down for today untill later tonight , however my i7 and 2nd rig will.continue full fold all day! Lucky I cought that in time... Hope it didnt do damage to em , since I have no idea how long they ran at this temp ;"(

PPD is going to be lowered even further......Recovering from a thermal nightmare. The furnace for the upstairs portion finally decided to kick in, and I came home to a machine about ready to melt down and an 80 degree room... 90C i7 2600k, 97C GTX 460, and another 90C GTX 460....No units were failed but my heart almost did.....My other systems seem to be coping with the heat fine but my main machine is going to be running stock.... See, I ~WASNT~ sandbagging

just set up your rigs to auto power back on after a power outage and then have windows auto relog abck in and then set your folding clients to the start with the rest of the system ... this works for several reason ... lets say you just leave for work ... 5 minutes later the location where the computers are loses power for 1 hour and you dont know it ... get back 8 hours later that is 7 hours of lost folding BUT if you had your rigs set up the way i mentioned above this method works lets say you just leave for work ... 5 minutes later the location where the computers are loses power for 1 hour ... power comes back on and the computers restart themselves and resume folding where they left off .. or resume from the last checkpoint where it saved ... with the second deal you only lose a grand total of 1 hour of lost folding rather than the entire shift at work just my thoughts on this matter ;)
