If it's the Bronze series the specs look pretty stout. Continuous power at 40C and stuff. I think Johnny Guru reviewed the new lightning series and they did quite well but they're quite expensive. Oh, and my box went down again last night for reasons unknown.  Guess my desk wasn't enough wood to knock on.

Have you checked out the Halloween sale at ncix yet? Started last night. Canada: ncix.com US: us.ncix.com and click on the sale banner. Might find a PSU you want on sale now.

I came home and my main pc and folding rig were off and would not turn back on. Started freaking out then I noticed I could not turn on my light. Oops tripped my breaker. Since I could only run on one GPU for the 295 on the 700w I decided to go a little more power efficient and traded the 295 in for two 8800 GTS's.

i just got back from my 20hr drive to grand rapids and back for my new RV and found out i had paused my 580 befor i left and never restarted it. ill play ctach up the rest of the week

Just got back after some down time. Dunno what happened but something USB went and killed my PC. Couldn't boot or anything. I thought it was gpus, slowly reseated all of them, nope, tried one at a time, nope, finally left all but one out and waited for post codes (hard to see when there are three in there....Need some sorta extension for that damn screen) Anyway, I noticed it kept pausing on 50, initializing usb something ro other. unplugged everything but my KB and mouse, worked. slowly plug it all in one at a time...be damned if it's not all back in and working the way it was....I hate computers
