picked it up during the Steam sale on recommendation from EVGATech_DaveB, and so far so good.  Cyberpunk themed FPS with crazy armored NPCs.  A few things here and there are strange, like the "interact" key bound to the "enter key", but for the most part its an interesting game.  Two hours into the game and still just roaming around the first city checking stuff out cause it looks cool.

Anyone else buy the game or played the game?

The game is way cool, lots of story.  It's a DX9 game, but frankly they did a lot with the DX9 capabilities.  Cyberpunk way in the future, you are a tech priest, has really made me think of Deus Ex meets Total Recall, right down to the message form yourself.  Also, all the major zones have randomly spawned missions as well as the big mission you were sent for.  So if you like an area, just keep getting more missions there and hang out.  Also, got some fun weps too.

Watch the videos for it, the hacking is awesome, you can get counter hacked too, lots of cool unique stuff there.  i got lost in New Eden for days, just loved it.

BTW, glad you liked it Eddie!

Please don't make me spend anymore (spent way too much on Steam Sale).  Will be broke  until BF4 comes out. Will definitly check demo out.

I got Eye long time ago and never did get started on it. Steam sales have created much backlog.

I need to get to this game next I think.

I think that should move up in the list on Steam games, it is worth the play, frankly its better than games I have spent 2-4x the price on.
I love the ability of getting counter hacked, also between their site,m and the books in game, there is a lot of cool history there.

I played for another 2-3 hours last night, there are so many layers to the story, I wont go into spoilers unless people want some, in which case I may do it in like white so it isn't plainly visible, or in PM.  But the more you play, the more you find there are certain things that are REALLY not what they seem.  Likely going to play it some more tonight.

That's is awesome, and I think there should be a strategy guide.  At least for the complexity of hacking.

You know its a good game when you loose track of time, look out your window and its light out.  For anyone entertained by the thread and may want to check out the game, I would highly recommend the demo.

    ....k, back to playing.

Eddie is definitely an addict now too  :)  So, who do you trust, The Mentor, or Rimanah?  Can't wait to see how you view the larger over-arcing story.

Done with New Eden (first area), I have to say I don't trust either of them, the Mentor or Rimanah.  They are both shady characters!

    And yes, I'm addicted.

Couple more screen shots I took today:
    1.  Im getting better at hacking, which is awesome! Especially hacking the bank dispensers, more $$$$
    2.  Had to go into a bar and found Fonzi.... ayeeeeeee!
    3.  No clue what this dude is doing in the bar corner.  Not sure if he's going to be sick or if he's doing something else.

...Going to start an E.Y.E. revolution!

You're welcome!  I am gonna need to get some screenshots too.  So, how did you like the fight from the goal at the end of New Eden?  That was a rough fight (at least the version I did).  Unfortunately I didn't get to play last night  :(
Yes, they are both shady...haha, can't wait until you start to find out why!  The theory and the philosophy will start to get deep the longer in you go.
I need to work on my hacking, I am soso at it, and it has gotten me killed a few times.

I bought this around when it launched, it had a sale within in a month of so of its release. I bought the 4 pack, it looked sweet, its a Source game.

    Then never played it.

Coincidentally I booted it up last week to co-op with my brother, we were confused. I forgot it was a Source game. Seems cool though, its on my list of things to play. I have it installed, that's a start.

On another note: Euro Truck Simulator is the best. Everybody I put in front of it giggles like a little girl when drive big rigs around.

Remember, don't go into EYE thinking it's a FPS, its a RPG/Mystery through a FPS perspective.  But the game definitely has some confusing parts and a learning curve.  When you start playing again, ask away, me and Eddie can help.  Maybe we can get Eddie to make a video of his hacking prowess and post it......

And uh oh, don't get him started on Euro Truck sim again lol!

I'd totally be up for making a video on the in game hacking.  I'll get on it and post it when I get a chance.  E.Y.E. definitely addicting, really can't tell what happens in game next!

Enigma, this really just goes to the front of the line, play this until you find the real ending :)
I am getting better at hacking, turned off an entire sentry security system.  **STILL** waiting on Eddie's hacking video, as he is supposed to be leet at it!
Rinanah is getting more and more shady, and I swear he is doing some REALLY illegal stuff, and I am becoming an accessory to any number of things because of this guy.  The roving story teller gave me some really interesting plot/past information too.  Maybe that explains some of the other stuff I have seen in the game, like the blind woman in white.
And **** is with all the werewolves in some places?!?!
