What do you think guys? They have just released new photo on the facebook profile with message "Designed for enthusiasts, by enthusiasts " IMO its not GTX980Ti :C beacuse i think its GM204 on the chip. Also there are new photos of Kingpin edition, do you think it is 1-slot cooling? Imo not...

When I see something like this heart always start to pump harder. Best color combination at the moment. Somehow I thought on Black/Silver/Grey variant while I chose PSU. Because compression fittings, capacitors on motherboard, my graphic card,...some water blocks... Black Red is always nice, but it's good to change something on other black combination, only not white, yellow, orange, blue...

Yes. I am pretty sure there will be a lot of secrecy around some mid-range card and of course, kingpin would put their name on it.

Definitely looks like a hydrocopper to me. The plate thats already on it is a thicker type of metal, suggesting a "block" type construction rather than a cooling plate (what EVGA calls mmcp) like on their other 980s and some 970s. I'm pleasantly pleased however to see that EVGA continues to listen to their customers intently! Its awesome that they finally made a single slot hi-end card. 'BOUT time!

I dont think so. Why a hydrocooper card need a baseplate? Why cant KPE use one-slot bracket?

Well, it seems kind of odd to have an air cooled card be of the one-slot form factor, when the fans themselves (specifically the ACX model I suppose) take up one slot themselves, making the card two-slot anyway. I think it would be difficult squeeze all of that into a one-slot design and still be the KingPin edition of the 980...
..you do bring up a good point with the baseplate though... This will be interesting :)

If it is classy hydrocooper, the PCB will be quite different from classy. Will EVGA do that? So whatever it is, its interesting. I cant wait to see the answer.

Perhaps a gt 950 SE then? Why discriminate against mid to low-end enthusiasts? Single slot card (air, liquid, whatever) are few and far between these days so I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for it.

There is a lot of speculation, but this could be the Poseidon style card, with a heatspreader/fan/universal Waterblock setup. Would be single slot and replace the silly Kraken G10 bracket. Would be perfect for most. I have no idea what it is, but I know I am interested for all three full scale pictures. The 980 Classified K|ngp|n will probably reign supreme until the next line of cards are released again.

Well I saw on Twitter JacobF posted a picture of both single and dual slot brackets, so I'd guess it'd be a dual slot air cooling version and a single slot water cooling? Would loose far to much cooling power going to a single slot air cooler for it to really be worth it as a above reference card, let alone a maxed out card like a Kingpin.

I sad once... No graphic without 15 phases and 22 pin connectors, almost as motherboard. Hm... I look this little picture... They very nicely made backplate this time, with holes near power connectors and little EVGA sign. Nice.

Do you guys think an Evga 1600W G2~T2 can properly hookup to these in 4 way SLI? Not so worried about power consumption more like the amount of connectors with 2x8pin & 1x6pin on each card meaning 8x8pin & 4x6pin total needed. The T2 at least comes with 9x8pin & 5x6pin cables which seems like it can do it physically but unsure about loading on the rails, using an 8pin & a 6pin on a cable at the same time, ect. Wouldn't want an instability.

You could definitely do it, but overclocking may be slightly limited. You can use 8 connection placements on the GPU (has 9 total) the far left gets a 6+2 and the middle and right share a 6+2+6 connector. **Edit** I rotated the picture so it wasn't upside down. I love that it will have triple BIOS support!!!
