I guess the big question to come from the lovers of led lighting is...

"will the Kingpin Edition stock cooler be available and compatible with the existing Classified cards?"
my guess is no,

myself, am not big fans of fancy lighting effects, but more subtle glow type accents, Jay says in the video "its an all metal cooler" but we can the heat pipes thru it, are those plastic inserts or what?

It isn't, it's built to work in a single slot configuration, with all of the display adapters on the bottom half, while the old one is a dual slot with DVI adapters on the top and bottom.

Intel i7 4790K - Corsair H90 - MSI Z87 MPOWER MAX AC - MSI GTX 980 (81.7% ASIC) - 16GB G.Skill 2400MHz - Seasonic X-1250 - Crucial MX100 512GB - Corsair Carbide 500R

the bracket for the single/dual slots are separate components, not part of the cooler/shroud'

that would not prohibit its use on the classified, however unlikely

I checked video clip, nice improvements on GTX980 K|NGP|N Classified, special on Cooler.
EVGA GTX980 AIO have fantastic elegant cooler too. Excellent solution for beginners who want to try to OC and silence.
Fan on 1200-1500RPM is enough.

EVGA is biggest reason why lot of people stay with NVIDIA, you can't see such attractive design with AMD.
They still use blue PCB on some models. This card look like professional cards, Tesla or similar.

I don't know.  Last time I ask Peter to know if the classy block was going to be offered in acetal and plexi version and told me at this time that it wasn't decided yet. That was over a month ago.  If they decide to have a plexi version their might be some LED inserts but I don't have a precise answer for that sorry.

Hi Luc...
I along with some friends will be picking up the 980 Classified KP and by the way it looks the components on the PCB are definitely different.
Do you know any news if the 980 Classy Block that is currently in production will also fit the Classy KP Edition?
If it will not fit the KP do you know if you guys will be making a block for the Classy KP?
If you could shed any light on this I am sure ALOT of people would Greatly Appreciate it :)

Thanks and keep up the Great Work!!

There will be a block for the KPE but it's so new as a news that there's absolutely no ETA for now.
