When the new Intel 6950x gets released will the EVGA X99 classy support this chip? Thinking i may give another EVGA board a shot this time around but it will need to work with this chip.

    Sure it will. Just update BIOS for Broadwell-E support and you're good to go.

    Thanx i was thinking that but was not up to date on the x99 stuff.

    I bought this board on amazon. I cannot get the system to post. Should have bought Asus.

    You just need to make sure its BIOS is updated with the newer CPUs.

    Message Tech support and they will send you a new bios chip with the updated BIOS if you don't have a Haswell-E chip to update it with.
