Hello I recently bought a SSD and I was about to install windows so I went to switch ACHPI mode on and when I saved that in the bios my computer now won't boot, the post code shows 25 and it just keeps turning off and on. Any idea what's going on?

Do you have any other HDD's in the computer? If so unhook them and try again. Also what BIOS are you running? What Motherboard?
Not sure why you would be getting a post code from adding a SSD. You sure that isn't your CPU temp?

What if you go back to IDE? Have you tried hooking up your old drives to see if you did something to your board during all this?

What motherboard? Is it hooked into the Intel SATA II ports?

Set your CD/DVD to the first boot device then try to load windows while it's in AHCI mode.

There were some people that had some issues with BIOS 82 and 83 with the new raid rom and some hard drives, reflashing to 77 if your on one of those may help you. or may solve it, or sticking with IDE insted of AHCI may work.

Sounds like an SSD issue, which SSD is it?

Well I don't think it's the drive I plugged in my old drive same problem, I looked up the error code says something to do with PS/2 devices which I have none a bad gpu but I've seen my gpu show graphics when it went to the windows install. This is very confusing.

I somehow fixed it installed windows with achi, got a 7.8 on disk drive. Now I just wonder how good this SSD is on Sata3
