Hello,

i want to perform the mod to my motherboard as it is rev. 1.0 and it does not read my Xeon 5670. I already spoke to EVGA and since my motherboard is not under warranty i would have to pay 50$ to get the mod done which it is fine, i have no issue with that but i live in Central America just shipping the motherboard to the U.S. would be really expensive. I've researched the whole forum and the Pictures on where to short the pads are unavaible, Can anyone provide the pictures so i can perform the mod here locally?

    This is a start: http://forums.evga.com/Do...pt-Xeons-m2204216.aspx

Seems like some pictures are broken though.

The instructions said "short them". In other words, connect those two pairs of contacts individually together with solder. It should take 30 seconds to complete the mod after the soldering iron heats up.

Thanks, followed your instructions with IT guys we only needed to mod picture 36 since U20 had no sense doing it. as it was 1 whole capacitor dunno why. in any case mod worked.

overclocking it, it's way easier than the 920 i had and temperatures are extremely low which is surprising.
